Nice burn, Obama!
But Obama has nailed McCain on FACTS. Yes!
And McCain still won’t look at Obama. I missed the very beginning–did they greet one another?
No, he’s losing the election.
It’s about getting votes. His answer was pretty good if you take it as an exercise in getting votes. It doesn’t matter HOW he gets votes (from his perspective) all that matters is that he gets them.
He’d be an awesome politician, no one can afford to bribe him.
I thought the same thing, but maybe the Palin supporters qualify for this.
I think Buffet would be a brilliant choice, I think McCain bringing him up first, minimized Obama bringing him up.
Nice turn around with the “not interesting in politicians pointing fingers.” Well done!
The Bloomberg theory.
crooooonieees…
Wasn’t fighting special interest groups originally Obama’s idea?
Yes, there was a brief handshake.
Teresa Finch - Independent or Undecided
I have here a list of 500 comm. . . I mean economists!
Is anyone watching with the squiggly lines? I’m watching MSNBC.
And that concluded Teresa Finch’s moment of fame (and she blew it).
Judging by the way these folks are spitting out the questions, it’s the audience that’s not doing well tonight.
Actually, Buffet doesn’t necessarily have the political skills. (He has the technical ability and can give a good speech though.)
Buffet could be one of Obama’s private sector advisers. Didn’t they have to have something called a “Kitchen cabinet”?
I know. But I cannot keep up with the lies that come out of his mouth. He’s delusional, IMO.
I’m new here, but I’ve been following this election, and these debates and threads with a lot of interest. This is the first time I’ve been completely bored. I don’t think that this format is going to tell anyone anything.
McCain is annoying, though.
“Why should we trust the people who got us into this mess to get us out?”
That question is unanswerable, unless one of them suggests just starting all over with a new government.
Does mentioning his pal Leiberman help McCain on the ‘reaching across the aisle’ talking point?
Nope, not drinking every time he says ‘my friends’. I gotta go to work tomorrow.
Did McCain mention Buffett? I dont’ remember that.
John McCain’s voice is shaking quite a bit, he really, really looks old and well, unwell.
Any more mentions of Buffett and I’m getting out the margarita mix.
