The Three Holes were the legendary Du-Wop group who set the tone for such legendary performers as The Inky Spots, the Platters and Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, right?
A local radio guy was talking yesterday about six-day underwear that has three leg holes. As I understand it the first day you put your legs in the left and center holes, the second day in the center and right holes and the third day in the left and right holes. Then you turn them around and repeat the process.
I’ve always understood that ordinary underwear was good for at least four days: frontwards, backwards, inside-out frontwards, inside-out backwards. Add the inside-out variation to the six-day underwear and you’ve got twelve-day underwear!

Not always. I’ve seen, in real life, in use, both two- and four-hole balls.
Well, I certainly have a dirty mind. I thought that ‘three holes’ referred to a woman’s…oh, never mind.
