Lori Ann Triolo. There’s an article at the 4400 page at www.tvtome.com that hints that the show will be back as a series or movie.
It’s technically a miniseries with an option to be extended. I hope we get new episodes come spring, like what they do with Monk.
…anyone notice the disappearance time and date for both Collier and Knox were the same…?
These two are connected somehow…Knox the serial killer and Collier the rich business man. I still think we have yet to see the ripple affect concerning Knox.
And the Florist girl with the ability to talk to plants? I’m assuming we’ll see the ripple affect to that on the final episode.
I’m pretty sure this was the final episode. I guess they left it rather open-ended in case it gets picked up as a regular series.
Oh, please let it be picked up! I want to see what Lily’s baby is. And who would have thought that there were no aliens, but humans from the future!
I want to see what Richard’s special ability is. Sean has moved into Collier Estates…what will happen there? Mia knows more than she can say at this point.
This isn’t enough. I want more.
I didn’t quite get the end. Lily and Richard are driving away and the trees on the left bend or bow or something. Was that supposed to mean they were showing reverence? Or that they were overcome by the great energy force of Lily and/or the baby? If so, then why didn’t the trees on the right bow down too?
???
Thank you!
Ooooohhhh. Now I get it. I got confused because I thought it was a miniseries, but then they said the last ep was the ‘season’ finale. Thanks!
Everyone who was taken was returned with something extra. Because Shawn interupted the process, Kyle wasn’t properly rebooted. The one to come has not been born yet, but the trees weren’t greeting him, he was grabbing them from the womb, much like a child who grabs at ba passing skirt. :o
If thats the case then the trees on the right, should have bowed instead. Lily was in the passenger side of the car.
Perhaps this is the “ripple effect” from the florist who was killed, the ability to communicate with plants, in this case…it seems as if the trees were guarding where Lily and Richard were hiding. Helping to hide them from Collier…
I read on the USA boards that the 4400 will definately return. Couldn’t get any details though, the page that the USA admin linked too was having trouble loading.
I figured I’d bump this thread once for those posters, like me, who didn’t see this originally, but started watching it tonight. I saw about the first 45 minutes, and intend to watch the remainder tomorrow. I liked the premise and thought it had a lot of promise (no alliterative pun intended). I recognize Shawn’s uncle (Tom?) as the chief bad guy in “taken” from a few years ago. Looks like SciFi does recycle some of their key actors.
At any rate, I like the way they set things up with pretty much no one knowing what to expect-- I think that if we ever do make ET contact, it will be something that we are not prepared to deal with. The parallels with 2004 US society work pretty well, too-- we are suspicious of anything extraordinary, and tend to react in a defensive way. The Court steps in, and recognize that certain fundametal rights exist.
I’m a bit leary of the supernatural references (precognition, healing powers), but they seem to be minor, at least at this point, so I’m staying open minded. (As much as I love SciFi, I hate it when it degenerates into magic. That just seems like a colossal cop-out by the writers.)
I meant to bump this myself.
The second season, due in summer, should be filming now.
