Urge to kill…rising…RISING…
Television! Teacher, mother…secret lover. Urge to kill… fading… fading… fading - rising! Fading… fading… gone.
What a weird game, tons of penalties thrown against both sides. The Ravens have scored 3 TDs with only 99 yards of offence and 52 yards of penalties. Steelers 60 yards offence 63 yards penalties.
What the hell is WRONG with us tonight?
Is Polamalu drunk or something?
The Steelers look lost or something. The vapid expression on Tomlin’s face after the missed FG at the end of the 1st half kind of sums up their play…uninspired.
They’re looking a bit better now. There’s nothing a couple turnovers in your opponent’s territory can’t fix
Make that three!
Worst game ever, 5 turnovers 300 yards of offence and a penalty fest. Give me Seattle any day
Flacco is just not a good QB, especially in the playoffs.
What a crazy turnaround in momentum after the Rice fumble.
Steelers look to lose yet another olineman. Crazy.
Oh my god…Tomlin is either a genius or certifiably insane for calling that play…
I don’t have a dog in this; I just have to say that when these two teams meet, it is a Football Game…I loved it!
Whew. Worlds of credit to Redding for being alert to that live ball but that still burns me that our guys were so clueless in a playoff game just feet from their own endzone.
Everything else is going to take a few minutes to sink in.
Unreal. In my mind, the Ravens handed this game away. It was theirs for the taking. The Steelers were so lethargic in the first half. Crazy how these Ravens vs Steelers games always turn out.
Now do your best and lose to the goddamn Patriots again already!

I am a Steeler’s fan to the bone, but let no man say Baltimore can’t play the game well. I thought Tomlin was gonna have to come on the field and play-and where was Troy all night? They resting him up?
That was absolutely amazing. Amazing, I tell you.
I thought the Steelers were done at halftime. They looked like whipped dogs. Then they came out and putzed away the first drive, and that clinched it. Then it all happened…
It’s amazing what pressure and turnovers can do to a quarterback. Ben handled it, Flacco didn’t. It’s that simple.
It wasn’t pretty, but the Steelers defense got the job done in the second half. I’ll take it.
Monster game from Ryan Clark. He’s a great player, but he’s usually overshadowed by Polamalu. He was huge today.
He was, but he almost knocked Ike Taylor out of the game due to his annoying propensity to attempt to lay the wood to someone instead of just tackling them. Had that happened he probably would have been the goat.
I get that they like to hit hard. But wrapping people up is important, too. Polamalu cost Pittsburgh a touchdown by not wrapping up Ray Rice on the 21-yard TD run.
In other news: as expected, the Ravens fans are crying about the refs and how the Steelers get all the calls. Their big bone of contention is the holding call on the kick return late in the game.
It’s an obvious hold, the guy was trying to get away and he couldn’t turn to try to make the play. But according to Ravens fans it was a bogus call. You know, the usual stuff.
I know this will sound like 20/20 hindsight but despite the score going into the half, I was confident the Steelers would at least come back. They were outplaying the Ravens on both sides of the ball but were losing because of stupidity on the fumble recovery and the fact that a turn over gave the Ravens a very short field. I wasn’t sure they would win, but I was sure they would tie it up and make a game of it.
Not sure who I want to see win in AFC tomorrow but looking forward to next week either way.
