The Amazing Race 11/22 - "Insert Pithy Quote Here"

It’s Race Day, Race fans!

My guess: Tonight is this season’s double-length leg. Otherwise, Dandrew should go home tonight, I hope.

I think you underestimate the strength of the frat boys. They clearly sold their soul to the devil in order to stay in the race this long. (Yeah, between the two of them they have one soul… barely.)

It’s the Final Four and the bumbling duo are still in the race.

Ah, that would explain it.

Considering that we’re talking about the Frat Boys, it’s more likely that they sold their soul to Phil, the Prince of Insufficient Light. When they die, they’ll be darned to Heck. It might actually be an improvement for them…

Phil is the Prince of Insufficient Light? But he seems so well lit at the mat!

(Yeah, yeah. I know the reference.)

What the HELL is wrong with Dan?

Why is he making that task so much more difficult than it needs to be??

The Russians called about the Cold War. They want a rematch! Good old team Dandrew, laughed at by Russians.

So far, it’s been hilarious!

The frat boys were just embarrassing. No wonder Putin hates us. I have to wonder if the decline in Russia/US relations could be tied to this episode.

And guys, you are not the tortoise in the race; the tortoise was slow and steady.

Who would have thought that being in the NFL would be an advantage in life. I don’t know why everyone doesn’t join.

I was kind of disappointed at the lack of really stunning Russian locations on this leg other than that Orthodox church at the beginning.

I figured this was a non-elimination but I’m still disappointed…

It was bound to happen eventually. Finally, reality TV has given us a contestant who is TOO STUPID TO WALK!

And once again, The Amazing Editors try to make the leg seem closer than it actually is.

What the heck was WRONG with Dandrew at the army base? After trying the march several times, they kept trying it again? They should’ve switched back to the borscht sooner. But at least they read the clue BEFORE doing the task.

Just Some Guy, I agree – we’ve seen far better locations in Moscow on previous Races. (And a few worse; the tram car yard comes to mind.)

Next week: Somebody screws up beyond recovery. I’m now taking odds on which team loses The Amazing Fanny-pack next leg. My bet is on Dandrew.

Devil. Soul. 2-for-1 special.

No, the team that will lose the amazing fanny pack is going to be Nick and Starr. My guess is mainly based on the fact that they’ve fallen out of groove and the editors are playing that up.

I’m hoping that it’s them. From initially disliking Ken/Tina and Nick/Starr, I’ve now warmed up to them, and I’ve always like Toni and Dallas.

Everyone noticed that Nick and Starr were wearing each other’s army jackets, right?

They were? I did NOT notice. And neither did The Amazing Inspection Sergeant.

Yeah, I noticed it too.

Nevermind Dan’s lack of coordination, Andrew not being able to wrap the sock thing was ridiculous.

Andrew:* “Dude! I did it just like you showed me.” * :dubious:

You can tell them apart?

I remember Phil talking about one team who made a huge error this year. Apparently, it’s the first time since season 1(the gay couple) where a team is eliminated because they are so far behind.

Though, I do remember the hay rolling incident where one team could never finish.

Anyway, I’m hoping Nick and Starr don’t lose their passports; that would be a game-ender.

Mahaloth, there was another season after season 1 where the third place team was, as I recall, in Hawaii when they got the news that the Race had been won in Arizona.

Dan can now apply for a position with the Ministry of Silly Walks. He’s a shoo-in.
