I think you’re right. He’s more a goober than actively an ass. She? Has no excuses. I suppose it’s only a convenience to us at home that she doesn’t bother to offer any.
This? Would have ROCKED. But, alas, each Yield on the race can only be used once, and each team can use the Yield only once per race. You can also only use the Yield on a team behind you, so Romber could not have turned around and Yielded Ron & Kelly.
I double checked last night, and (like the idiot I am) I had set the fool thing to only keep 2 episodes and I have the 4/5 and the 4/6 special saved.

Seems to me, they should make the YIELD with an expiration date. That is, you don’t have to use it now, but you can use it sometime in the next 5 days of the race. I also like the anonymous idea, but that may not work since they all arrive at the same location (generally) for the challenges.
I’d like to see them try putting 3 different clues in one box. So team A comes in and picks up their clue. It directs them to Location 1 to get a clue or do DETOUR or ROADBLOCK X. Team B gets their clue from the same box and it directs them to Location 2 to get a clue or do DETOUR or ROADBLOCK Y. Team C comes in and picks up their clue and it directs them to Location 1 like Team A. Team D comes in and their clue directs them to Location 3 to get a clue or do DETOUR or ROADBLOCK Z. The clues are randomized in the box, so different teams may be going different places, it is all the luck of the draw.
Just my thoughts.
Has there ever been an intra-racial cuople on TAR, even just friends? Has there ever been someone of Asian ethnicity. I am pretty sure the answer is no on the the first, but I am uncertain of the answer to the second.

Wow, if it’s an hour long, I cannot begin to imagine how all of those other teams couldn’t get their cars done until just before Colin and Christie’s wait time ran out.
I was prepared to swear that it was mentioned to be a full hour during Season 5, when Chip and Kim yielded Colin and Christie, but upon Googling, I see that it’s never mentioned anywhere just exactly how long the Yield is. I wonder if this is to allow production to adjust the timing based on other factors.
Kathy from TAR3 was the only Asian racer and part of the only multi-racial team ever on TAR. The only Hispanic team ever was Donny & Oswald, the fabulously gay Cuban-American duo. 
The yields have all varied in length, to my knowledge, tailored the specific task they’re being made to wait for.
