The American Coup: 11.9.2020 -

So, is Biden going to be 46 or 47?

Do we know what sort of medical emergencies they were?

Or 48 if Pence resigns and lets Pelosi take over the last couple weeks of this term.

Can trump preemptively pardon the insurectionists who were arrested even if they haven’t been charged or convicted yet? I think Carter gave a blanket pardon to draft evaders , so blanket pardons can be done and I assume the people arrested yesterday would be facing federal not state charges so it’s within the current occupant of the White Houses ability to pardon

I am not equating the insurectionist with the people who evaded selective service , and I don’t need an answer fast !

I want him removed (not resigned) if only so that he has the stain of children learning about him in school as the only president who had to be involuntarily removed from office.

To answer this question, Trump can pardon the insurrectionists even if they have not been charged. Under Supreme Court precedents, the acts for which the pardon is issued must be in the past but it is not necessary that the individual has already been charged or convicted.

# Some among America’s military allies believe Trump deliberately attempted a coup and may have had help from federal law-enforcement officials

‘Today I am briefing my government that we believe with a reasonable level of certainty that Donald Trump attempted a coup’

This is what I’m trying to figure out. 2 men in their 50s may be heart attacks, but a woman in her 30s? I read that at least one person was injured and taken to the hospital from falling off scaffolding, but it did not say if it was fatal.

Thanks

Thanks for that link. It’s confirmation from expert sources of what I think many of us already suspect from the bizarre scenes - that there must have been pro-Trump collusion from senior law enforcement to enable this. The “riot that we never expected and got out of hand” cover story is bullshit. This was a planned, albeit disorganized and half-hearted, coup attempt.

Yes, I’m reckoning on heart related for the men. They were in the prime age for heart.

The woman could also be heart, or with all the gas wafting around could even be asthma. With the way people were on scaffolding and stairs, can’t rule out trauma.

They haven’t gone into what the medical emergencies were.

Why are you arguing with me?

Still no like button on this thing. Since he’s unlikely to be thrown in prison – even by the states’ attorneys general – I’ll take it as a poor substitute.

This is strictly an uneducated guess but I wonder if they got hurt by something like falling out a window or suffocating trying to sneak through a tight space.

Whom is this quoting?

Quite possibly. Even the most organized and disciplined groups suffer losses not directly attributed to conflict (read sometime how many American lives were lost in Vietnam from traffic accidents). And this was not a disciplined group in any sense of the imagination. So the odds of some type of bonehead accident is large.

An unidentified NATO intelligence official. It’s in the linked article.

Presumably one could suffocate if one lodges one’s head up one’s ass.

Seems to be an unidentified NATO official.

If you didn’t click the link they had this bullet point: Insider is reporting this information because it illustrates the serious repercussions of Wednesday’s events: Even if they are mistaken, some among America’s international military allies are now willing to give credence to the idea that Trump deliberately tried to violently overturn an election and had help from some federal law-enforcement agents.

Lindsey Graham is proof that one can indeed survive.
