Finally! The Animatrix is up and running and the first episode is stunningly beautiful! It documents the beginnings of the machines’ revolt against the humans. It kind of reminded me of the Terminator backstory, but a lot more fleshed out (no pun intended.)

Too slow. I don’t know what my school’s computer lab uses, but It’s cabable of DLing over 1MB/sec.
Anyway, the episode is definitely something that takes a few watchings. The first time I saw it, It seemed rather boring. I like it more and more every time I see it.
Some radically wonky images. Love the Tibetan mandala motif for the library. Love the Devas, just like I remember.
Almost a negative of “Metropolis.” This is what Heavy Metal should have been.
