This is why straight men do not design clothes. I know nothing about fashion and even I know that stuff sucks.
I agree, that was a good call. That’s exactly what Raj was doing.
You’re just not sophisticated enough to appreciate the men’s subtle “upholstery motif”.
What a shocker. The women win.
This wasn’t exactly a fair task but John did kind of blow as a PM. Raj wasn’t very useful either this time but I hope he doesn’t go yet.
Oh my god.
How much of this can we blame on the designer? I didn’t see Kelly (Chris’s?) nice, tasteful coat in that mix… And she was quite the slacker getting the clothes made, when the women’s team walked into a room full of clothing. Did she poison the well?
How could those clothes be that bad? :smack:
And Carolyn has looked especially hot this entire episode.
I was impressed with the leadership of the women… catty though it was, the working lunch and getting the clothes ready was downright impressive, and sending Elizabeth-the-over-analyzer to the buyers might have been a good idea, if they actually used what she learned (I couldn’t tell). She was writing the buyer sheets, I think?
You nailed it. And how can the guys be so…mature and calm? And committe-like about who they’re going to vote off the rock?
Well, Raj is safe.
This is an interesting board room. The men aren’t being weasely or evasive when asked who they would fire and they’re giving coherent reasons for their choices.
I finallly found something to like about Stacy – nice rack for a midget.
The pleading to Carolyn is really unseemly.
They must really edit/re-record Trump’s comments; it’s extremely obvious where they cut the audio.
Wasn’t someone supposed to crack up laughing this ep? Wasn’t that in a preview somewhere?
It was Carolyn. She laughed at the men while they were picking out material.
Dewey - Carolyn was laughing so hard she was crying when the guys were picking fabrics. It was priceless.
StG
Carolyn had a giggle fit while the boys were picking fabrics.
“I hate people who exaggerate.”
That’s got to be Stacy.
Wow, they sold three times as much – they romped. This is the most lopsided win in Apprentice history!
Oops, the Donald hates exaggeration…
It was probably also one of the most lopsided tasks in Apprentice history. Was there really any question over who would win this task?
…and Trump agrees. John should have thought on his feet and hauled Raj’s ass into the boardroom after hearing Trump go off on him.
And I have to say that my respect for Kevin continues to grow. At risk to his own odds of firing, he stood up for Andy, when the rest of the team was totally bashing him. He looked pretty good answering the phone too.
Who’s the loser who thinks it’s the height of humor to tease men about wearing frilly pink undergarments if they’re not uber-macho? Is it the same dude who was joking about the gay male restaurant patrons?
John was a poor manager, who had little control over the team (including blubbering Raj). That said, he could have saved his life had he brought in Kevin, Wes and Andy. Andy could have stood out as the weak overall contributor.
