The Apprentice -- 9/29

Just a reminder that it’s on tomorrow night, not Thursday, because of the presidential debates.

I’ve been enjoying the previews – Carolyn saying “You failed!” Yay! Who failed? And why is she so pissed?

And will having Bill be the “George” this week affect how things go in any way, do you think?

Thankyouthankyouthankyou for reminding me that it’s on tomorrow night!

Is it just me, or is Carolyn more angry this season? (Or is it just the abilities of the majority of the candidates?) I really wish she had more screen time or at least the occassional confessional.

I read that Bill was harder on the applicants than George or Carolyn.

A “Carolyn Confessional” would totally ROCK! Because Carolyn strikes me as the type who would not hesitate to insult someone who desperately deserves it, but in a very smart way. Like, smarter than any example I could even come up with. Certainly she would not just say, “Ohmigawd that Andy completely sucks!” Although you would be able to tell in her eyes that she means just that.

Well, the female team has bordered on incompetent buffoonery every week so far. Heck, the week they won they didn’t exactly blow the doors off. Their opposition made an average toy while their’s moved around.

Add on to that the sever cattiness/boneheaded maneuvering in the board room, and I would think that Mr. Rogers would turn a little angry.

Just to bump the thread…

Is anybody here rooting for the ladies of Apex?

There is one member of Apex that didn’t bother m that much. I can’t remember her name, but she was the least catty during last week’s boardroom. Other than that, I prefer Mosaic’s team.

I’m not rooting for Apex at all, infact I think they will fail again this week and Carolyns anger will be pointed towards Maria as she, yet again, tries to blame everyone and everything for her screw ups.

Sorry about the run-on sentence…I need some coffee.

I think the least bitchy so far have been Jennifer and Sandy .

I think it was either Jennifer M. or Elizabeth.

I have a hard time telling all the blonds apart, although I think I’m getting better at distinguishing Sandy. She’s the one with the shih tzu ponytail who always looks like she’s doing some Joey Tribiani “smell the fart” acting, right? And Elizabeth’s the one with the gorgeous aquamarine eyes who was PM last week, but I can only distinguish between her and Jennifer M. in closeup.

Well, that’s exactly the problem. The best anyone can say about them is that there are one or two who don’t seem to be quite as bad as the others. Sad, really. Like CCL, I can’t tell most of them apart.

But fortunately, there are a couple that I can actively root against. Ivana, I’m looking at you.

The ones I know:

Elizabeth, Maria, Ivana, Stacey

The rest (including the guys) are a blur.

I’m still salty about last week. I hope Apex hits the boardroom again tonight.

I could root for Jennifer M. (the only reasonable one from last week).

She has some creds (Princeton and Harvard), as opposed to Sandy who, if she indeed owns a string of bridal salons at the age of 21, is either deeply in debt or has wealthy relatives.

None of the Mosaic team members stand out yet (except Raj and maybe Wes) – it seems like we haven’t seen much of them.

Hoping Apex ends up back in the boardroom tonight, and that either Ivana or Elizabeth go.

Heck, I’d settle for the remaining Stacy going – isn’t she the one who’s “sensitive” about clinical depression? Yep, she can go too.

I have a hard time keeping them straight. This helps:

Gad! Why can’t we all just get along!

Was it Andy who nailed it on how Stacie J got the axe? Can’t say the person who got it this week didn’t deserve it.

Isn’t it a little sad how much more incompetence and nastiness outshines plain old good work. Nobody knows anything about the guy’s (plus one) team but the everybody remembers Apex.

The best moment was Bill telling them it’s not a game. I still don’t think they get it, though.

I spent the whole hour trying to figure out who Jennifer reminds me of. The bangs/French twist combo … hmmm… or might it be Minnie Driver. Anyone?

At least I won’t have to look at her any more – damn she did a terrible job. They all did a terrible job, though.

I liked how Raj and Kevin immediately busted the women on the Stacie J. Frame up.

It was also nice to see the women have to turn on each other with no “Crazy Stacie” to push under the truck.

I thought Bill’s comments were tough but right on target. I think his perspective as a former player gave him an insight into the gamesmanship that Trump and the Viceroys don’t necessarily have. He immediately saw through the motives for Jennifer’s boardroom choices and gave her exactly the right response.

Jennifer was the right person to fire (one of the easiest choices Trump has had since Omarosa burst into the boardroom on season 1), I’m just sorry he could only fire one of them.

A satsifying episode over all. I hope the women keep losing.

(There was one woman who pretty much admitted that Stacie J got lynched, so she went up a notch in my book but I don’t know who she was. She was one of the blondes but they all look alike. Was it the other Stacy?)
