Maria was a home-ec minor?
I thought my brain was going to explode.
That was maybe the lamest boast I’ve ever heard.
Didn’t Trump say, way back at the start of the season, that he thought bringing three people to the boardroom was a bad idea? Because if he had hinted that he thought three was good, they would have been doing it.
I think Maria is beautiful. I don’t particularly like her, but she’s gorgeous.
Diogenes, yep, gotta be Stacy.
My thought exactly!
Three is a bad idea if you’re the project manager and you don’t get fired. Now there are two people left to despise you, instead of one. It’s a bad tactic if you expect to be playing next week.
In John’s case, though, he should have brought in three. Wes, Kevin, and Raj. Trump’s dying to fire Raj.
Really? She totally freaks me out. There’s something about her half eyebrows – and does she have any eyelashes? shudder I find her truly creepy looking – and her blinking thing last week didn’t help any.
I find Maria so affected and snotty that I can’t find her atttactive.
AuntiePam - I don’t think so. As I recall, he’s said repeatedly that he can’t understand why people don’t take the opportunity to have someone else there. Of course, I could be mistaken.

I’m hoping that, given your comment, you are not a sexual discrimination / discrimination in general, attorney. Guys are so f**king predictable, education or no. I hoped that you would be able to comment on a woman’s intellectual capacity instead of the size of her tits. Of course, if I were to sink to you level, I could have commented on Raj’s appearance (avec early morning hardon), but I didn’t because unlike you I take the high road.
You’ve got a problem with appreciating a nice bosom?
Besides, it isn’t like Stacy has much of anything else to offer.
Argh. The week after I unveil my The Donald is Annoyed theory, we find ourselves in the rare situation where Donald just wasn’t really annoyed with anyone this week. Like the week last season where he ended up firing Bowie Hogg, he fired someone that he didn’t want to fire just yet because he had to fire someone.
His justification for keeping Kevin was pretty lame. We all know the real reason that he kept Kevin is because he’s one of the strongest contenders. He may have biffed the pricing this week, and pricing is always important, but it wasn’t like the QVC task where it was the overriding factor. In other news, I’d love to know why Trump is so interested in Andy. He just seems like a nebbish.
Kelly’s fashion drawing really impressed me. The ability to draw is a really valuable skill in any kind of job. If you can communicate your idea by just sketching it out, you can save a ton of time and reduce miscommunications.
I was happy to see the women win finally. But I wanted to slap Elizabeth and yell “This isn’t junior high school! Who cares if you’re not in the popular crowd!” I am starting to hate Ivana less. She’s still really awful, but she does have some redeeming features.
“Capelet” is a really funny word.
Are you serious??
If Stacy cut her hair properly, applied nice make-up and stopped wearing juniors section suits, she would easily fall within the realm of the Short, Cute, Stylish Girl that I could see a lot of guys going for. Well, I half take that back…if she got herself a nicer personality, too. No, she’s not “model-worthy,” but with better fashion sense and less bitchiness I think she would easily cross the line from Evil Troll to Quirkily Attractive Professional.
I think Kelly represented well tonight and that Carolyn’s “he rose to the occasion yet again” comment was telling for future performances. Also, the men were far more palatable in the boardroom than the women have ever been and I think it showed in the way that Trump, Carolyn and George dealt with them (as opposed to the women).
By the way, I am a straight woman (also short, also an attorney-in-embryo) and I noticed Stacy’s rack and fully agree with Dewey’s assessment. She does have a decent set on her. Hey, she’s the one putting them out there on national TV, I am going to ogle.
Yeah – not one of the men had to be told to shut the f*ck up.
I was offended by Dewey’s comment, but I think it had to do with not believing there’s anything redeemable about Stacy. Why not lay the smackdown on my opinion of Carolyn or Pam’s of Maria or Lily’s of Kevin?
I still think the designer deserves a lot of the blame, but… John’s decision, John’s mistake.
Thoughts, in point form so I don’t have to be cohesive (because I’m mentally cooked):
[list][li]Why were the designers brought into the mix so, well, mixed-up? There is no way that the competition could be fair when one team was presenting couture and the other was presenting pret-a-porter.[/li][li]Raj was being a simpleton when they were in crunch time. But the repeated bugging of the designer should’ve been managed by the PM after the first incident – “Raj, what do you need that you’re asking Ilsa for?” “X, Y, Z.” “Okay, Kelly knows X, Andy knows Y, Kevin knows Z. Guys, come work with Raj to get him this info so that Ilsa can work.” Sometimes people get a little caught up in the task, a good manager gets them refocused.[/li][li]Raj’s hitting on the model thing, however, was sad and pathetic. I thought that his whole shtick with Kournikova was simply because of who she was. Raj, dude, stop thinking with the little head, for the love of all that’s holy.[/li][li]Am I the only one who can’t tell any of the men apart? I have no idea what any of their names are except for Raj and Andy. I’m not even sure which one is the black guy. And one of them is a dead ringer for Troy from last season. (But don’t ask me which one.)[/li][li]Elizabeth was a loose cannon tonight, wasn’t she? Even worse than SpongeStacy. In fact, where was SpongeStacy? I didn’t hear a single pipsqueaky word out of her pipsqueaky mouth![/li][li]The girls doing the modeling thing? Could it have been, oh, wait, yes, I think it was… bonding! Just when they’re about to scramble the teams. Oops.[/li][li]Did anybody else notice that there were a bunch of red herrings tonight? When the girls’ designer decided to go with the measurements on the models’ agency cards instead of doing a live fitting, I thought for sure that it was a sign of impending doom. When the men arrived in the morning to find only one outfit done, again, I thought “Doom!” But no. They were just futzing with us. I hate futzing.[/li]Best moment of the week: the edit showing Raj holding up the chiffon saying “Is it too fluffy?” and Carolyn dropping into gales of laughter immediately thereafter.
You’re probably right. Maybe I got it here, a discussion early on about the advantages/disadvantages.
What are they, anyway?
Seems like with two, there are fewer people ganging up on the PM. ??
Damn straight. Smack me down baby (especially if you look like Kevin).
(Almost 1000 posts and I’ve never been pitted.)
At the first episode, MrValley said, “They brought back Troy!” Then he insisted that it was going to turn out to be Troy’s brother in a surprise twist.
One I was surprised by is how badly Raj needs attention. I hadn’t noticed that before.
