Second-to-last episode (with a three-hour finale next week – swoon). The final four go through the interview gauntlet – the step that did Amy in last season – and are narrowed down to two.
My prediction: Sandy gets tongue-tied and Kevin starts to sweat; Jenn and Kelly make it to the final two, at which point Kelly’s team is helpful and Jenn’s isn’t – leaving Trump with the necessity of hiring a second white male, pissing off all kinds of demographics.
I think your prediction is a good one, twick- though I’m wondering if Kelly won’t get a little tongue-tied as well.
Still putting money on the Jen/Kelly faceoff, regardless.
Jen/Kelly was pegged as the finals by most people about 3 weeks into the show. I’d actually be a little disappointed if that comes to fruition. I think it took a good while longer for people to see a Bill/Krame pairing last year. This season featured too much chaff, not enough wheat.
As a note prior to the show, the Raj Ratings may be delayed again this week, although not by Kofi Annan inspired power outages. If you see me posting in MPSIMs between now and 10PM on Thursday, you’ll know why. It’s my own shocking twist! The most shocking rose ceremony ever! You get the idea.
Dare we hope that our own Mullinator has found the person of his dreams? Awwwww… Congrats! (and will this adversely affect my role as your head groupie?)
Definitely the first real twist of this season of The Apprentice – well, aside from Sandy making the final four.
As best as I can tell by searching, we’ve yet to discuss “The Apprentice Girls” Maxim photo shoot.
So! Y’all might want to steer your browsers over here and take a look-see.* (Note: If your theory is that the one hired by Donald is not going to be doing Maxim shoots, then don’t look 'cuz it’s spoilers!)*
Pamela does a remarkable Candace-Bergen-with-extremely-perky-breasts impression (pic #2). Stacie J looks like the real model that she is, but the rest of them…eh.
This is simply a public courtesy bump. With the show on tonight and this on the 2nd page, I figured it likely we’d end up with two threads.
Actual content?
Ummm, they need to do an individual challenge in the first week of the show. Everyone sits down to play Trump, the game. Winner gets one exemption to use at any point. First person eliminated goes home. Agree? Disagree? Discuss.
I think they need to get rid of exemptions completely, but I agree, there needs to be a better way to cut the fat in the first few tasks. And something’s got to be done about losing PMs always being fired over their losing staff. Good in theory, but…it doesn’t quite work out in practice. I miss Raj and Elizabeth.
Maria and the eyelashes of death deserved to be out the week she effed up the budget on the toothpaste thing – it still ticks me off that that didn’t happen.
OMG it’s a messageboard time capsule! Amazing what you see on the ol’ internets.
I’m on board with the Jenn vs. Kelly final. Whether Jenn can take it really depends on two things:
How Kelly does on the challenge. He phones it in as much as anyone, but I can see him stepping up for the big game. Basically, I think the game is his to win or lose. However…
The teams. If Ivana is on Jenn’s team, there’s going to be trouble with a capital T. Hopefully Jenn watched and learned Kwame’s last round last year, and will have the sense to neutralize Ivana if the situation comes up.
Can anyone honestly picture Sandy running one of Trump’s companies? Seriously, supervising the construction of a skyscraper, running a golf course? No way. I’m not saying she’s dumb-- I can tell she’s great at running her bridal shop, she’s a hard worker and a decent person, but she’s not CEO or VP material.
In any case, I am excited to see the show tonight.
I’m going to be watching, secure in the knowledge that at least SatOnCookie is with me in thinking those girls need some serious conditioner for their hair.
Oh, and yeah—wanting to see how the interviews go.
I want to go on record as predicting it’s going to be the suprise of the century (or at least of the season) with both girls making it to the final two, with Jenn winning it all.
I must say, I’m not a fan of Sandy’s “professional” attire. It looks a little cutsey to me, with the ruffled skirt and the tie blazer. I just don’t see it for these interviews.
