What, no thread already started, with zillions of eager posters?
heh.
Well, I’m glad Arrow lost, and Surya was a good firing. As Donald said, he’s looking for leadership, and the only good things said about him were that he might work better as part of the team instead of leading it, and some who has never seen him lead said he’s a nice guy.
Damn faint praise.
What amazed me is that the Arrow leader seemed since when he claimed his team did great. Uh? You were there. You should have seen that the crowd got on its feet and cheered during the Kinetic vitamin pill race – and that as a whole they sat there blank faced, not making a sound or even clapping during your boxing ring story.
I thought both shows looked pretty stupid, although it was shrewd of Kinetic to use Spanish. Something that didn’t come through well in editing, I thought, was what made Arrow’s show so “hard to follow”. It was basically a Popeye cartoon.
It looked like it was just those two characters, though. With the other team’s production, there were a lot of characters and lots of action. Even if you didn’t know what all the obstacle courses symbolized (because I really didn’t), it was still eye-catching and kind of humorous. Arrow’s thing was a one-ring circus act.
I was glad Suruya got fired because watching him made me feel uncomfortable. But I felt sorry for him because I do think it ultimately came down to a personality conflict.
I didn’t know what to make of the other PM’s problem with Moirna (?). The woman does talk with a condescending style–but maybe that’s an artifact of her accent. She’s also very intense and doesn’t appear to have a sense of humor. But I think it would have been incredibly dumb to go after her in the boardroom. Trump seems to respect her because she doesn’t do a lot of unnecessary lip-flapping. She goes right for the jugular.
It also got the audience involved, since they gave out free shirts to whichever part of the audience was assigned to the winner’s colors. That was a crafty move.
