Last season didn’t get the degree of rabid posting that previous seasons had – I think we only went over one page once – so maybe this season we should just run a single thread for the whole season this time. Seems to be working okay for Dancing with the Stars.

Anyway, new season starts tomorrow night (2/27), 9 PM Eastern. The promos look interesting – here’s a handy-dandy link to the NBC page. Another Russian! Will this be a rerun of the whole Alla thing, or what?

BTW, according to Entertainment Weekly, Carolyn is out for five episodes – to be replaced by the blonde, buxom, pouty-lipped Ivanka Trump (MBA, Wharton). Boo! Bad place to imitate the Martha version – not that there’s a good place to imitate the Martha version…

So – anyone else planning to watch?

I hope he’s not gone by week 3. Just as we needed to see the trainwreck that was Danny playing the guitar (“like a street musician”—Carolyn) for the Burger King task, we may need to see Brent’s mime, mask, and clown skills.

I’m not sure that he was to be honest with you. I think Trump’s idea is to see what this supposed genius has got…he’ll torch him if he doesn’t win - I think.

You might be right. It’s the kind of thing Trump will latch onto anyway. He tends to sort of fixate on things like “Rhodes Scholar” or “self-made millionaire.”

You;re right that if Mensa Boy fails, Trump will light him up for it. One thing he doesn’t like is when people can’t back up their mouths.
