Thursday night at 8:30 (half an hour early) – the new series will pit “Book Smarts” vs. “Street Smarts.” Since we already know which Trump prefers, it’s hard to imagine there will be much suspense involved.
So – are we all going to maintain our integrity and not watch if it sucks, or will we all be here as usual Friday morning? 
Yeah, I don’t think this season will be nearly as good. I’ve got a season pass set on TiVo, but I might end up canceling. I just don’t like the premise.
But even if it sucks, I’ll still be lurking in this thread anyway. Sigh.
I’ll be watching. I have the capacity to handle one more sucky season before fully losing hope (unlike Survivor, that’s on a “3 episode or I’m out” watch right now.)
The Raj Ratings are raring to go. I can promise that they will be the yoogest ratings ever, more luxurious than any other reality show ratings concept. They are a part of a $13 Billion dollar industry and of course, Trump’s ratings promise to be the best and most magnificent that anyone has ever seen because this board is the greatest board in the world and deserves the best.
On the plus side, I have already identified 3 people I will have no issue hating. Let the excoriations begin!
I gave up after the second episode of Wickedly Perfect, so my reality dance card is open until The Biggest Loser 2. I started watching just to read these threads, anyways, and if Mullinator’s here, it’ll be worth weekly suffering.
Despite my Masters, I’m cheering for the Streets. My Sally pain has not faded.

When will photos and bios show up on the NBC website? Do they wait until after the first episode? I’ve been looking, and there’s a short video, but nothing else that I can find.
Really? I’m trying to decide whether to tape the whole thing or just the last half hou, because you know I’ll be chomping at the bit at 8:30. I’m really digging Wickedly Perfect* – nice mix of personalities and skill sets, and it’s a field (celebrity homemaker) where “personality” is definitely a factor.
Sally = Sandy? And despite my doctorate, I’m with you on this.
It will be interesting to see what kind of tasks they come up with that Burnett sees as being a fair test of the two approaches. Any guesses?
Wordy McWord. Last season provided far more annoyment than enjoyment, but I’m on board for one more. It’s worth it for the Raj Ratings alone. Bless you Mullinator. 
I’m curious to see if Trump can be even more random this time around. Maybe he’ll fire the first person who raises his or her voice in the BR and completely negate last season.
Things will be OK if:
-The contestants view this is a contest, but not a cut-throat one.
-Donald makes his decisions based on abilities in relation to the task, not on a personality quirk, the words of others, or the desire to be dramatic.
-The contest focus less on being street marketers and more on sound business philosophy leading to a sales result.
-The show is divided up as 5% set-up, 55% task, 5% reward, 15% pre-Boardroom maneuvers, 20% boardroom.
-Candidates focus on how to win in the boardroom, not how to not lose this week.
Most of those things happened in TA1. None of those 5 things happened in TA2. I’ll be happy if 3 of them happen in this version. But again, this was mostly filmed before TA2 was aired so they had little to no chance to learn lessons from prior failures. Heck, that concept should be one of trump’s little lessons.
Between your ratings and TWOP, I think I’ll be fine skipping it this season. My wife have narrowed our TV nights to two per week (Sun & Wed) and we’re perfectly happy keeping it that way.

Is it just me, or has very little time passed between interations this time around? It seems like the last one just ended.
Smeghead, yeah - it was a rather quick turnaround. I think Donald was hoping to float on the remnants of those who he had gained with last season. We’ll see if it proves too much.
It might also be that he didn’t want to compete with Survivor: Palau, who knows.
In any case, I’ll be watching tonight whether roommates like it or not.

i really don’t understand this thread at all. the apprentice’s third season is going to be really, really great. it’s going to be the best thing you’ve ever seen and you’ll tell your grandchildren about it. it’s the best show in the best town, New York City, and it has the best person in the whole world, me. I would stay and explain it more, but i am realy, really busy trying to keep “Mel-ahn-ya” happy and intrigued by my wealth. I’m going to let Carolyn take over now.

My completely knee-jerk, arbitrary, totally uninformed instinct so far is to support the polyester dork and the prosecutor with the bowtie. That could change at any second.
I’m rooting for Polyester, too (the anti-Raj?), but Bowtie seems abrasive.
