I’m not meshing with this cast like I did the last two seasons, we’ll see how it goes I guess.

For some reason I feel myself siding with the college team. Maybe it’s just because
I am a college grad but I feel some impulse to want to prove that education means something.
I’m just praying someone’s going to do a John Belushi/“Animal House” and smash his guitar against a wall.

I guess I’m with the college team too because I do want to see education come through, but seeing how serious Net Worth is taking it - I hope to see a stunning victory in the first competition.
It’s a small thing, but I noticed how the Street Smarts group was out the door right away, to get hands-on ASAP, while the College group immediately started conferencing and delegating as their first step. Or am I overanalyzing?

When the Magna team leader was sitting in BK at his laptop, he looked EXACTLY like Kelly from last season. Same expression on his face, same dismissive attitide combined with false & condescending praise to the guy who was getting pissy…
Another way you could look at it is that the high schoolers went rushing out to eat hamburgers without any sort of plan or concept for what they were going to do and the college team got organized and got their shit together.
I guess it all depends on your perspective.

I didn’t notice when I looked at the bios, but she’s from West Des Moines, and she’s the lead item on tonight’s local news. Ordinarily it bugs me when the news people always try to find an “Iowa connection” for every single thing that happens in the world, but I’m okay with this.

There have been rumors on TWOP that Trump was very disappointed in this particular cast and thought they all sucked. So far I’ve seen nothing to dispell that rumor.
Is that the team leader? I thought his speech to pump up the regular staff was awesome.
