Neckfurters. 
Any other Dopers out there who loved this show as much as I did?
Though set in Austin in the 90’s, the show was a pretty close facsimile of my experiences in Athens, GA in the mid 80’s. (Athens and Austin had a similar vibe, methinks.)
Why did MTV cancel this show? Does anyone have the scoop? As I recall, it was both a critical and ratings success.
Also, why haven’t we seen more from the actors involved in the years since the show aired? I expected big things from them.
And most importantly, is this series available on video or DVD?
