Maybe they can turn in the scrap metal from our bombs for money.
Well, fromt the Taliban’s point of view, it stopped the aid from coming in. This helps negate any of that “turning-the-natives-to-our-side-and-showing-that-we-are-not-out-to-get-everyone-just-terrorists” reasoning that was the cause of the aid drops in the first place. Aid doesn’t get to the folks, the folks don’t start to be on the side of the West. And until they send in some ground troops there’s not much anyone can do about it.
On a lighter note, did anyone notice the color schemes on those trucks?
