The Beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves

Workers fired for Whining too much:

My favorite line:

You know, it may be a national sterotype, but if I had to guess the one country where ity was most likely that they keep efficient records of how often you moan on the job, it would be Germany.

Or if it’s the sex trade industry, Amsterdam.

Me, I love the picture–yo, guy! Your cow-orkers and employer can still recognize you even with your hand over your face like that! (duh)

I see the point about Germany, but some of these reasons for the firings are insane. I’d like to see the list when it comes out.

I thought it was virtually impossible to fire someone in germany.

I have a couple of T-shirts with the title motto on them. I gave Shayna and Spiny Norman sweatshirts with same for Christmas.

The CEO of the outfit I worked for had a clever way of puting it: We will have no unhappy employees.

I hope the bookstore I work for doesn’t adopt this policy. :frowning:

This was going to be my staff recommendation for next month. :frowning:

We had some t-shirts made with “The beatings will continue until morale improves - The Management” on the front, and “Morale will stay low until the beatings improve - The Employees” on the back.

Ha!

These have the motto on the back. There’s a skull and crossed bones on the left tit, with ‘Bellingham, WA’ underneath. I’ve seen these shirts with other cities on them as well.

Those German execs must have a copy of this poster in their offices.

“Ve vill give you something to moan about!”

It reminds me of a line from Ninotchka: “there will be fewer but better Russians.”

It’s at their website.

Companies that behave like this are effectively reducing the pool of talent available to them, and in the long run they will suffer, or change.

Those posters absolutely never fail to crack me up.
