Eve, I would pay $5 to see you post a pic of yourself wearing those boots.
US even.

Ha! Everybody knows that Wolverines are the best boots!
yours are nice though
Wow, im suprised this thread hasn’t been killed yet, i didn’t think that it would last for more than an hour.
Tansu, your boots are scaring me.
BOOTS! Whee! I love boots. Unfortunately, I have big feet (10-11 W) and big calves to match. And a small budget.
Oh well, I can enjoy looking at you guys’ boots
Hmmm. I just don’t get the attraction of any of those. These are the only boots I wear: http://www.timberland.com/cgi-bin/timberland/timberland/catalog/tim_product_detail.jsp?OID=17111&strCategory=/Women/Footwear/Hiking&strLastItem=true
Mmm, I’m just having fun looking at all the pictures of shoes. I even enjoyed looking at those God-awful cowboy boots.
The mean one is partial to hooker boots. Got two pairs!
God awful? Not quite. Here is God awful.
And what’s worse is that I had me a pair.
Gad those are awful. But they have a built-in pocket for I.D. and cash. Brilliance.
Lately I’ve been wearing these, but then sometimes I wear these, but then I get off work, head to the barn, and get into these. Of course on the weekends, you might see me in these, or of course, these.
Wow, this is really turning into a competition for who has the worst boots! (should i be giving out prizes?)
I own not one but TWO pairs of look-a-like boots, Dawne. Both of which I purchased for less then $30. One pair has the same heal design, and is made of this brushed synthetic suede material, and they stretch. I got those at Payless/Hurtmore. They look good (Some may know them as my Hootch Boots), but are horrifically uncomfortable. No arch support, which in a two and a half inch heal, isn’t good. But they look good.
The other pair are actually my favorites. They are this fake patent leather/vinyl material, and have no zipper. They just pull up like riding boots, but the material itself is not stiff like leather. Terribly comfy. And the heal is an inch high, which is good for me, as I’m 5’9" as it is. But they don’t look like riding boots, they look like dress up calf-high boots. The toe is a little more stylized. They actually look a little bit like a more dressy version of fizig’s last choice. I love, love, love them. If things don’t improve, I think I might look into marrying my boots. And I got them at Marshall’s for $30. Sweet.
I also own two pairs of Docs (purple and black-steel toed). But those are more utilitarian/costume for an Indigo Girls concert wear. My hootch boots are my true joy.
Eve, those are amazing. Faux-Cinderella glass slipper boots. Fabulous.
I don’t know if you British types have Payless over there, or something compariable, but I have had lots of luck around the fall. Generally they release one style of hootchy-type boots in the beginning of the fall. Check it out, Dawne.
