Well they are in my opinion. Why have i started this thread? Well theres no one online and i need to show someone my boots! Well, they’re not mine yet, but they will be. All i need now is £45 and someone with a credit card to order them for me. (note to moderators - im definitely not asking anyone from this board to give me their credit card number etc, i have a mother for that.)

Dawne, I had those boots two years ago and LOVED THEM! They were very slim to fit my skinny legs. The big bummer is that the part that holds the heel straight up and down solidly broke, so when I walked, the heel would collapse under my weight. It so sucked. I took them to the shoe repair and it would have cost more than I paid to repair them.

Oh, by the way Kalhoun, how easy are they to walk in (when they’re not broken that is)? I once had to do a can can style dance in 4 inch spike heals so i should manage but ill probably wear them a lot.

Dawne, I’m a high-heel kind of girl. I do fine on 'em. I generally don’t go below 3.5" heel ever. And I mean ever.
But the height may have something to do with that fucking broken heel. My spirit was crushed when I could no longer wear them. In cooler weather I’m an “all-boots-all-the-time” kind of gal. Ahhhh…maybe I’ll get another pair and see if they don’t hold up better.
In the meantime, I just bought another pair of Carlos Santana sandals, http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/458556/c/3.html but they’re too wide and will have to go back. Damn. I’m into a real shoe thing right now.

Not very fashionable, but I wear Vasque hiking boots. They’re “free” with my REI dividends (although my latest pair have yet to wear out, and my previous pair are still quite serviceable, so I don’t know when I’ll get more).
Those look nice Kalhoun but i think if i wore those i’d stumble everywhere. I think the height of the boots shouldn’t be a problem for me, i have some shoes that are higher but i rarely wear them because they are uncomfortable.
Yeah, i know great universal aren’t known for being fashionable but i was looking for some new college stuff and i didn’t want to go out. Most of the shoes i found in there were quite horrible IMO but the boots just called to me.
Well, you just call right back to them and tell them to wait for you and your (foreign money). You’ll be glad you did. 
I have a pair of leather thigh high boots with a 6" heel and detachable foot and ankle buckles that will fight your pansy-ass Great Universal Stores “other materials” boots for the title of Best Boots Ever.
