Kudos to my local Mini Cooper dealership! SharkWife needed a car that was easier to get in and out of (see my recent “Wife hospitalized with weird paralytic disease” thread).
In just 2.5 hours:
-Test driving two Minis, sans talky salesperson coming along
-Got a trade-in on the Jeep that met a more-than-fair “sell it yourself” price
-Obtained excellent financing at a rate lower than our bank offered
-Signed all the papers
-Left with two stuffed “Mini Cooper” dogs and two Mini diecast cars
The only thing we didn’t leave with is the actual car . . . she’s boarding a ship from England on Monday.
