If Democrat, name the (currently in the running) Republican you’d hate least as President.

Rule #1-No write-ins.
Rule #2-No debating.
Democrat here…wouldn’t mind Rudy.
Ditto.
Neither; I’m a Green.
But since that’s closer to “Democrat”, I’ll go ahead and say Rudy. Mitt Romney would hold that spot if he weren’t such a double-crosser. Sorry, “flip-flopper”.
Republican here- Biden or Richardson
Republican- Yech.Oh wait,you want Democrats,uh,Bill Richardson.
I’m not a Democrat but I’m far more “not a Republican”.
Rudy Giuliani.
(Damn that hurt.)
BTW, I’m not avoiding the poll myself-I usually vote as a Contrarian.
Democrat. If Guiliani wins, I probably won’t immediately take my life.
Democrat. Hard to pick any Republican. If Romney wasn’t trying to play the “I’ve consistently held the positions I now hold, even when I didn’t hold them” game, I’d go with him (why can’t a candidate say, “I changed my mind”? Only an idiot takes a position on an issue and never changes it, but evidently candidates think the voters like idiots.)
I dislike and mistrust Huckabee’s born-again-ism, but his record seems to indicate he would be open to ideas more than most of that ilk.
Ultimately, I’d probably consider John McCain.
How any Democrat can like Giuliani is beyond me. They don’t even like him in New York City any more.
Yeah, me too.
It’s really sad that this thread even exists at all. Excuse me while I whimper in a corner and weep.
Can I change my vote? Upon further reflection and another cup of coffee, I think McCain would be the least disastrous.
I have to say John McCain. I have more respect for him than the others combined. I hope the Republicans give him a second look.
Democrat here. This is a toughie, but I think I’d probably hate Ron Paul least. Rudy Giuliani and Mike Huckabee are terrifying (for different reasons), Mitt Romney only slightly less so, John McCain seems to have sold his soul to the devil, Tancredo was a one-trick pony who now appears to be getting out of the race, and Fred Thompson doesn’t even take his own campaign seriously, so why should I? Thus, I seem to end up on the Ron Paul wagon, unless I’m forgetting anybody. Ordinarily, reproductive rights are a big issue for me and I hate, hate, hate Paul’s position on them. But I’d like to see us get a president who cares about the constitution and is reluctant bordering on unwilling to engage us in imperialistic foreign military misadventures.
Republican…Hilary.
Democrat -
For me, it’s split between the political and the personal; politically/ideologically speaking, I would have the least heartburn with Giuliani. But I can’t stand him.
Personally, I would feel OK if John McCain were president, only because I sense he has some decency about him.
Republican here.
A few years ago I would have said Hillary b/c she seemed to have broken out of the democrat lockstep and had actually formulated strong opinions. Opinions I might have disagreed with, but at least I could respect them. Plus, she supported the war. Now I could not stomach her poll-driven wishy-washing positions.
So if I had to pick a Dem, I’d go with Richardson.
Independent ex-Republican here. I’m gonna go with Obama, if for no other reason than I wouldn’t vote for Hillary if her opponents were all aliens bent on conquering the Earth and enslaving us all.
Republican (sort of; actually more of a libertarian conservative): Obama–He’s as liberal as any, but seems like a decent guy.
I’d agree with Freddy on that one.
