THe best time (astrologically) to kidnap someone

Does anyone know enough astrology to make up a reason why someone who follows it might think it is a good time to stage a kidnapping?

This is for a plot for a book. Anyhelp greatly appreciated.

What you should probably do is come up with a reason to do the kidnapping, then work up the astrology to justify that reason. I’ve never seen “today is a good day to kidnap someone” or even “today is a good day to commit a crime”. But I have seen “You’ve been contemplating unusual methods of accomplishing your goals. Today is the day. Other people will not approve, but you know this is the right thing to do”

Which could apply to a kidnapping, or to asking that cute guy down the hall out for a date.

If you asked ten different astrologers that question, you’d get ten different answers. You’d do just as well to make something up.

Yes, all different answers, but the premise sounds fun.
How about, when there are a lot of planets in the 12th house (of secrets, hidden things).
?

Well, I am still grinding this all out. The premise here is that there is a woman, possibly crazy, possibly not, that decides to kidnap a shrink during the last month of her pregnancy. There is a long line of mental illness in her family and she wants to make sure she is “sane” when the baby is born.

The astrology thing is more of an aside than anything. It may work out or it may not.

Well. I think this is an “experiment of a peculiar nature”, concerned with someone’s health… so, the best time to carry it out, astrologically speaking, would be in the hours and days of Jupiter, in a month when the moon is in an Air sign (Gemini, Libra or Aquarius).

The day of Jupiter is Friday, the hours are the fifth and twelfth of the day, and the seventh of the night - that is, if you divide the period of daylight on your chosen day into twelve equal-time segments, and do the same for the following night, Jupiter is in control during the fifth and twelfth of the daylight segments, and the seventh of the night-time ones… so, just after midnight on Friday night seems like a good one to go for? Seems plausible to me.

When there’s a bad Moon risin’?

How about a “secret” message interpretted from a fortune cookie? That way it doesn’t have to be astrologically sound, but is still wacky.

All astrology is made up anyway, so it’s not like you’re bound by science or reason or any kind of logic.

I think it should involve the doctor’s chart, too. I.e., by carefully plotting both their charts, taking into account the minute they were born, what their moon is doing, etc., etc, it’s obvious they MUST converge at this particular date. And if he won’t do it willingly, she’ll just have to force it, because of the Mandate of the Heavens or whatever.

Just a thought.

Sounds like an interesting premise. Good luck.

Isn’t that contradictory?

I like this idea I will have to work it out. I am not that brilliant with charts. Obviously. Thanks for all the good answers.
