I found it out of character and extremely nervy that Leonard would even consider taking over Sheldon’s home. Surely this would have been covered in the roommate agreement anyway.

That’s true, but as Amy has repeatedly pointed out, the group is totally Leonard-centric. He’s the locus of their activity. It would really be nice to see Sheldon come back from walkabout with enlightenment.

Penny’s last name is Hastle. When she gets married, she will be Penelope Hastle-Hoffstader.
When I first saw Stuart’s store burned down, I immediately thought that Stuart would be moving in with Sheldon. But that would have been too easy.
Stuart may be living with Debbie full-time next year. On further consideration, I’m sure his insurance doesn’t cover him living in the back of the store.

The first three syllables of “Hastle-Hoffstader” are identical to the name “Hasslehoff.” Not a very good joke, I know.
I kind of thought something like that, but I figured it was too easy.
Now that Penny has committed to marriage she’s going to get that big part she’s been looking for, then she’s going to have second thoughts about getting married.
That’s my prediction anyway.
i did gasp and say “oh no!” when they showed the burnt out store. so sad.
at the end of the episode, i thought of course stuart gets along with howard’s mother… she is accustomed to having her son take care of things for her. stuart is a howard stand in. all the other nurses were women.

wouldn’t it be an extra big twist if after Stuart taking care of Debbie and them hitting it off that she takes an interest in Stuart’s enjoyment/obsession in super hero comics. this will get Howard all twisted up.
pairings like that have been done before like Jeff and Agnes.
Am I the only that that didn’t get the romantic vibe off Stuart and Howard’s mom? I saw it as more of an ersatz mother-son relationship.
