Yes, but which Sheldon was the one leading the meeting? “Integrated Personality Sheldon?”
I liked Bernadette’s line about Raj and Stuart’s “briefing packet”
The WORST EPISODE EVER was one that set up so many expectations and was so, so not good. When Penny and Leonard got married the second time season opener. So many good guest stars, so many not jokes and unfunniness.
Not the WORST EVER, in my opinion, but not particularly good, either. I didn’t especially mind the Sheldon & Amy part, but the whole plotline of Raj and Stuart competing for Bernadette’s co-worker (what was her name? It sounded like Richie) just made me cringe. It really showed both of them at their absolute worst. It’s no wonder that women aren’t attracted to them; that was some really icky behavior. And it dominated so much of the episode that I don’t think this one will have much re-watch value for me.
As I say, I didn’t mind the Sheldon & Amy part, but it wasn’t especially funny, either, apart from Sheldon’s epic Tale of the Flip-Flops. That was kind of predictable, with its series of escalating mishaps, but Parsons sold it with his delivery. But the rest of that storyline was just sort of there.
I did freeze-frame on the close-up of Sheldon’s white board. Some of the potential conflicts he had written, in addition to the mis-spelled “Battlestar Gallactica ends,” were “Leonard Nimoy’s B-day,” “Chernobyl,” “Star Wars Day,” and “National Train Day.”
And here’s my own Sheldon-like nitpick: Jon Pertwee died on May 20, not May 19.
Yeah, I enjoy all the characters quite a bit, myself. Great fun! I loved seeing Stuart and Raj together! Hilarious!
Yeah, that was great!
May 19, 1996 happens to be the day I became Kayla’s Dad.
…I think the Raj Stuart plotline was the worst thing I’ve seen on the show: because in the light of the Harvey Weinstein revelations watching this just made me a bit sick in the mouth. After eleven seasons the best they can do with Raj and Stuart borderline sexual harassers of someone who was clearly not interested? Very disappointing.
Sheldon was right. It was a special day!
I agree. Their Desperation Schtick is getting old. It’s like if the woman is unattached, it’s either don’t want anything to do with them or let’s get married and have babies. There is no in-between. Sheldon has grown, why can’t they? Stuart has even regressed…at the beginning he was a charming artist who got a date with Penny. Now they’re just sad and pathetic.
Sheldon’s flip flop story was great. I don’t think they’ll get married on June 15…I think that’s rather late in the television season for a finale.
I wonder if Ruchi will return?
It looks like Burt is in good company!
This is actually weird to me. Howard was much worse than Raj and Stuart in the early seasons - he was often downright predatory, while the guys are just pathetic. But yeah, their chasing after the new girl was sort of gross. Raj has always been somewhat creepy, though.
I always thought it odd that in a previous episode the three female protagonists listened to Stuart moaning in his shop and agreed how creepy and undatable he was.
Two of them had previously dated him.
When Stuart was first introduced, he wasn’t that creepy. He’s just gotten worse over the years.
So have they all.
Nonetheless their previous dates with him seemed to have vanished — and if not conventionally handsome, he’s still preferable to Sheldon.
And Leonard too is an appalling little grudgepot: his pitiful control-freakery is one of the reasons Penny drinks a bit.
“A bit.”
By the time their 5th Anniversary rolls around, she is going to need a liver transplant.
Leonard is a total and complete asshole and needs to die. Right after Raj. Maybe the final episodes can be the females all killing the males and living happily ever after.
Leonard?!? You mean Sheldon, right? Leonard is the one non-asshole.
Sheldon is the one non-asshole of the bunch. Pain in the ass? Sure. But the rest of the males are out-and-out assholes.
