“Amy” seems so non-descript, but her voice modulation was wonderful.

Good one. Characters seemed human and actually acted like friends and the jokes were funny.
ETA: Even the girls seemed like friends. If your friends can’t laugh at your most embarassing moments, who can?
I also called the surprise - I just called it wrong. I thought it was going to be Howard and Raj.
I thought it was going to be Barry Kripke.
My first thought was that it was some super-smart 12-year-old kid. But right before they clicked it, I yelled to the spouse, “No, wait, it’s <spoiler!>”
And I was right. 
Apparently Sheldon has gotten over his germ phobia by letting Leonard touch his hand.
I give the episode a Siskel and an Ebert.
I, too, enjoyed this episode! First of the season.
There was science! And humor! And science humor!
I hope this is a start of a trend.
I thought the critic was going to be Leslie Winkle. Or the young teenage genius that defected from North Korea.

My first thought was Kripke, but my second guess was right. And I didn’t think the girls were being nasty to each other - they were just friends razzing each other. Even tho Bernadette as a singing cupcake felt too out of character for her, I thought it was hilarious. And I liked the way Amy’s story arc played out.
Overall, I enjoyed it.

I got spoiled about the troll because he had posted about it ahead of time.
I thought it was going to turn out to be Kripke but I was hoping it would be the long forgotten rival to Sheldon, Leslie Winkle. But I find their chosen troll superior to even that.

If so, and I bet they mention that Coopers genitals are “functional and aesthetically pleasing”.
Actually, I did just check. No Amelia/Cooper fic yet, but one story about Amy writing A/C fic and Sheldon’s reaction to it.
