I was just thinking about this!
I was considering “Penney” as a last name after Walter Penney, inventor of the Mathematically interesting game Penney Ante. And from there it’s just one step to Penny Pennie (sp?) Penney.
(I’ve met people with the same first and last name. Never a triple name AFAIK.)
An “explanation” of how this can occur: Some people’s middle names are last names on the mother’s side. (As in the case Mrs. FtG’s mother and grandmother.) It might be that there are "Penny"s on Penny’s mother’s side as well. That gives you the last two "Penny"s. And Wyatt would think naming her “Betty Penny Penny” would just sound stupid so …
