It’s all fun and games until the morning after something actually happens-
Then comes that moment when you remember making love to somebody’s wife in front of cheering spectators. Your mind reels. The world tilts. The floor skitters out from under you. Terror. Confusion. How will you ever face her husband again? Then, you remember. Due to you blood alcohol level and requests from the ladies, you and he had sex in front of the same crow. On the same table.
You begin making a list. Some definite yes's. Some definite no's. A long section of maybe's because you can't be sure who you slept with.
So you move to another state. You change your name. You run because you just don't know how to deal with it all.
Then it happens again.
And again.
Hey … I might be interested. I have to speak to The Husband, but I think we just might be able to swing something. Even if it’s just a drink or two. Will keep you posted. In the meantime, mark me as a maybe …
Well, it looks like there is enough interest to keep at least part of it going, then. At the very least, Saturday night. Now I just need to know who’s coming for what so I can plan appropriately.
Again, I’m just trying to get an idea of who’s coming when for this so I know if I need to call places for a reservation or if we’ll be small enough to walk into Fado Saturday night without any problems. Even if you’ve said you were planning on coming before, just pop in again to let me know when you think you’ll be there. Thanks!

BOFH=Bastard Operator from Hell…basically the SysAdmin who is a users worst nightmare.
LART=(L)user Attitude Readjustment Tool-A device used by BOFH’s to keep users in line. Usually a large, heavy, blunt object such as a 2x4 (Clue-by-Four), baseball ba, or other clublike object. Some BOFH’s (myself included) prefer more arcane LARTs such as battle axes and scourges.

Join us for a wonderful, fabulous fantabulous dinner. At this point, I am not making reservations because I haven’t gotten enough definite confirms for that night to make it necessary. Anyone that wants to be there, either let me know while I have enough time to call and reserve or be there around 5:30 so we can get an accurate count.
If anyone wants to get together during the day for something on Saturday, let me know and I’ll be happy to join up for Dim Sum or a museum or whatever.

I’m sorry for all of this being so unorganized. Hopefully, we’ll have a good time, organization not withstanding.
