And, love y’all as much as I do, I’ll be damned if I’m going to go down 9 flights every time someone comes in! :))

Sunday-IIRC you gave the address earlier in this thread. It’s jsut a few blocks from the apartment of some friends in University city. I figure I’ll go to saturday night dinner, sleep at their place, then take a short walk to your place on sunday.
I just dropped of the form. She asked how the apartment was. I’ve been cleaning it. But, I feel it would be best to stay home tonight and keep cleaning.

Just where do you keep a cuirass(that would be the part of a suit of armor that goes around the chest) made from scraps you got from a relatives basment? The open reel tape machine Dad gave you when the folks moved to Florida? And abacus and 3 slide rules?
My back spasmed on me earlier today, badly. I’m in considerable pain ATM, and the usual meds aren’t doing much for me. No scratch that. I’m in fucking agony. Moving more than a few inches hurts more than I’m prepared to tolerate. If I can get some resolution on this, I’ll be there tomorrow night, but consider this a no-show warning.
Tranq, I hope you get feeling better. I can honestly say I probably know how you feel right now. I did quite a bit of work over the last couple days and can barely move. But this shindig is at my house, so I’m here anyway. (We’ve already got Morgyn, DocCathode and Cleophus here - they crashed here last night.) I’ll be taking lots of naprosyn today, I think. If you decide you can come, call my cell (you do still have the number, I hope) and I’ll give you directions and codes and all those good things. Otherwise, we’ll just all have to get together after Verrain and I get back from the honeymoon.

twickster, I’m going to tie a string around your finger!!! Then again, even if you’d come down late, we’d have been there. DocCathode didn’t show until about 6:45. Hopefully next time, nature will stop planning against you and you’ll be able to make it.
No, when I say I woke up at 6:30, I mean I woke up at 6:30 – there would have been a whole shower, dress, drive into town, find a place to park thing – it would have been close to 8.
No problem, Tranq. I understand. As I said, maybe some time after the wedding. After the success that it’s been with the five of us here, I don’t see this being something that won’t happen again. Get feeling better. That’s the most important thing.
