Johnson had a lot to gain from Kennedy’s assassination. The Billie Sol Estes and Bobby Baker scandals were gaining traction. At the time of the assassination, Johnson himself was about to be investigated and it probably would have been the end of his career. Kennedy’s death put an end to the investigation.
Watch me pull this conspiracy out of my hat.
Probably 100,000 people had a lot to gain by Kennedy’s assassination. ANY President would be better off dead to thousands and thousands of people; a President’s job by its very nature involves creating advantages for some and disadvantages for others. One of the people who will always stand to gain by his death, by thew way, will always be the Vice President, who stands to merely gain the biggest job in the land.
Motive doesn’t prove jack. If it did, every murder would have fifty different guilty parties.
I didn’t want to start a new thread on it since this was already up and running, but did any of you watch Big Brother 4 this week (I think it would have been last night’s (Sat) episode, may have been Wednesday), when the FBI guy Jack pretty much confirmed that the Warren Commission report was correct? Backed up the main points made in this thread.
It was almost spooky how much what he said had already been said here. I was impressed.
