I’ve read his posts. And him and I are in a similar situation- we’re both condemned for having unpopular opinions.

If you did, I’m sure you’d see what Lynn Bodoni meant.
No one but Lynn or any of the admins or mods decide who gets the boot. If it were really like that, people like december would’ve been banned a long time ago(I personanlly don’t know if december is really that bad a poster to ellicit 20 pit threads a month).
The mods here are fair, they wouldn’t ban you for “silly” things(What EXACTLY is the thing you’d do that get you banned? You’ve been much too vague about it).
It’s not a popularity contest
You can have unpopular opinions without getting people angry at you/ or banned.
You see, there is a difference in having unpopular opinions and and being an asshole about having a different opinion. Clint chooses to be an asshole.
Surely, you can state your opinion logically without being a jerk about it?
Yeah, that’s kind of a rarity too. I paid $10…well Tars paid it for me actually…to post on forums where they will ban you for arbitrary and capricious reasons, including simply the joy of banning. They ban a few dozen people a month over there, and put their names on a list that everyone can see, detailing their crime. The slightest critical remark of a moderator there gets you banned.
A banning here is almost always for persistent trolling, registering just to make one post promoting your own website, that sort of thing. Bannings for anything else are an extremely rare event. And they never come because some guy has an unpopular opinion, they come because the people who hate that guy goad him into crossing the line.
