The Bradys in the White House

I was looking through this weeks TV schedule and found a blurb about a new Brady movie that will be shown on Fox next Friday.

The blurb states that the plot runs thus:

Mike Brady becomes the Vice President. (WTF?? How in the hell does an architect become the VP?) Anyway, the President dies or something and Mr. Brady becomes the President. Then, during a fight about Marcia’s slumber party, it is found out that an asteroid is going to hit the earth.

Now my question, is this a parody like ‘The Bradys’ movie which was really funny or is this a true ‘Brady’ movie?

If it is the second someone really needs to be fired.

Whoa!
Must see the terror! I must!1 I MUST!!!
The ring has nothing on this movie!

This is a joke, right?

Omg, it isn’t.

[q]FOX MOVIE SPECIAL:
THE BRADY BUNCH IN THE WHITE HOUSE

WORLD PREMIERE OF THE ALL-NEW MOVIE ‘THE BRADY BUNCH IN THE WHITE HOUSE’ ON FRI NOV. 29 ON FOX

The Brady kids must also adjust to life in the White House: Greg falls hard for an attractive intern, Jan is haunted by the disembodied voice of Abraham Lincoln, and Cindy learns that she shouldn’t “tattle” on her family to reporters in the World Premiere of the movie THE BRADY BUNCH IN THE WHITE HOUSE Friday, Nov. 29 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The folks at Fox obviously ran roughshod over the constitutional provision that the President and Vice-President can’t be from the same state.

Gary Cole & Shelly Long’s involvement suggest an association with the parody movies.

Do you think anyone could even fathom a Brady movie in present time without turning the irony up to 11?

Mr Moto, that’s not a biggee:

Or did you just “whoosh” me?

Larry Mudd,

I think it is a parody but you never know. There are some really stupid shows that get put on TV these days.

The blurb I read didn’t have enough information to figure out if this was a parody or not.

Either way, it couldn’t possibly be as bad as the Brady Bunch Hour (variety show).

If Mike Brady gets into the White House, then the terrorists have already won. (If not, they deserve to!)

Nah, it’s the same bunch(!) from the last two movies. Oughta be worth a chuckle.

Incidentally, I was in Sears today, and I kept hearing myself say this line:

“Put on your Sunday best, kids, we’re going to Sears!”

It’s on tonight!

Wanna bet it’s gonna be a train wreck? Did Shelly long do a deal with the Devil and paybacks comming early?

No. He collected the second she left Cheers.

Hey guys it’s on FOX so you shouldn’t be the least bit surprised.

It’s good to see that Shelley Long has finally found the serious, culturally meaningful work for which she left Cheers.

Well, it was either that or infomercials.

Considering that Robert Reed is pushing up daisies, I doubt it’s serious.

I’m having fun imagining the sub plot of the Secret Service trying to keep Jan from offing Marcia. Or a SS agent taking a football intended for Marcia’s nose. And of course, they’ll serve Pork Chops and Apple Sauce at a state dinner for the Israeli Prime Minister.

The best part was Greg putting the moves on Marcia with the line…
“We’re not *really * brother and sister.”

Ewwwwwww

What a stinker! Wasted my life and once again Fox has taken precious moments from it!

*Featuring Sam the Butcher as the Secretary of Agriculture.

After watching the movie last night,I thought it was pretty funny.

especially when marcia goes :“Oh no! they cant cancel my slumber party,I was going to invite Chelsea Clinton and the Bush twins, everybody knows how much they like to party”: Ha!
