The Bundys are at it again.

You are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

“Bundy is representing himself in his criminal case.”
I’d quote more from the article, but that really is the best line. Arrested. Again. What an idiot.

I kinda liked this part too “Bundy didn’t appear in the courtroom because he was protesting outside the building instead, apparently angry in part over mask requirements put in place during the coronavirus pandemic.”

I AM not going to court unless its under MY terms!!!

I would just like to mention that according to the article he actually did show up at the courthouse, but instead of attending his trial he stood outside and engaged in some loud public whining about masks.

It’s some sort of 4D chess defense strategy, I’m sure.

ETA: ninjaed

Bundy may not believe in COVID, but I kinda hope COVID takes an interest in him.

Do I have this right; he was originally arrested for not leaving a government building, and then arrested the second time for not going into one? Maybe he’s hoping the charges will cancel each other out.

I’ll Bundy some credit. He has a very different view of government than I do but he seems to be consistent.

See the post above yours.

I think he’s being consistent even though I disagree with him. He’s anti-government and in both situations he’s taking actions to protest the government. That the protests use different (and in this case, opposite) tactics is amusing more than anything.

Lately, he’s been consistently arrested, so he’s got that going for him. That, and the fact that he’s acting in his own defense (Hooo-wheee!). He’s got that going for him, too. Consistent ain’t a virtue.

Consistency is not a virtue in an idiot.

Had a firearms trainer tell this to a troop of Scouts, after he put five rounds tightly spaced… just outside the target.

“Boys, you can be consistent in life… consistently wrong. And you can be accurate for one moment and then miss with the rest. You need both accuracy and consistency.”

My high school archery coach was elated with this as progress for beginners. Get consistency first, then accuracy.

‘My high school archery coach…’

America never disappoints! Who knew high schools had archery coaches? Not I! I could not even have guessed!

Learn something new everyday! Amazing!

I had a quarter of archery in HS – that was several decades back.

High school archery was a blast. Got a phys-ed credit for standing around shooting arrows at stuff. (Mostly archery targets.)

He was the electronics shop teacher with a passion for archery so he volunteered to teach classes and coach the team. We were the only high school with a regular team in Utah, other competitors were high school student who trained on their own. Needless to say, my high school had a dynasty which was unsurpassed in the years before or since.

I took archery for two years and was on the team.

When I was younger I took great pride in having taken state in my class but would omit the fact that I had missed the first qualifying match with an easier style so my peers were placed in a higher class. The qualifying round I participated in was more difficult so so I was ranked lower, which allowed me to take States. I was pretty good, though.

My fun story involves going shooting with my now ex - BIL, a truly despicable Trump supporter who loved his long guns. He had recently acquired an M1 and was shooting with iron sights. He had been going weekly for some time when I made my annual visit.

He invited me to shoot and after a bit challenged me to a competition. Sadly, I don’t remember all the details as to the exact distance but he moved the targets out further to where it was a challenge for him. On a maybe seven inch circular target with a couple inch bulls eye, he had hit the target itself about half of the ten rounds.

Having just shot that day for the first time in several decades and with his rifle I had a cluster which would have made Mr. Lang proud. Shooting skills are like riding a bike.

Normally BIL would go on long rants about how liberals were ruining America but it was a very quiet ride home. I guess my sister did eventually take pity on him and tipped him off to my history.

Your high school had an electronics shop?

Metal shop, wood shop, electronics shop, photography dark room, home ec, car shop, silk screening place, computer lab, and all the others I forgot. Public school but in a damn good school district with funding. The only thing we lacked was a winning football team.

I didn’t know you were in my HS! Man I miss access to all that.

We had an offset printing press and a typsetting press as well, and a video camera and VTR in 1977.

Our fooball team was 1-7 my senior year.
