The Bundys are at it again.

That’s not the Goodrich carp. Goodrich doesn’t have a carp.

He’s preparing to mount a false flag attack by disguising himself as a Muslim woman wearing a bright blue burkha.

One of the dudes, known as “Booda”, apparently wandered off, after his service in the USMC was revealed to be a fiction. Embarrassed, I suppose. Another, known as Capt. O., sequestered himself in a motel to get drunk on raised funds.

A fearsome fighting unit, they are. I should like to see the employees of the refuge walk in and get to work, see if these guys are brave enough to fight them off.

Even a coward is dangerous if you corner him.

“Corner” them? They go into town, eat at local eateries, shop at local stores and yard sales, wander back to “their” compound. Kind of a loose definition of “cornered”.

It was a typo. He meant to say “Even a cow is dangerous if you cornhole them.” And the Bundy clan knows.

I think it may only be a matter of time before the locals start removing these idjit boy-men, one at a time. A good technique would be to simply have the townsfolk deny them any food sales, or booze sales, or motel stays, followed by some “helpful” local townsfolk giving each one a ride out of town. A long, long way out of town.

Drank up the donation money. That’s hilarious.

Maybe they’ll just slowly melt away as more and more wander off.

Thinking about it, maybe the feds have made the right call. Leaving them alone to act like the fools they are could discredit their movement much more than storming the place would.

There is no standoff. There are no blocked roads. There are no armed feds. There is no siege.

So should the rioters in Ferguson etc. be carpet bombed for arson and looting? I didn’t see the Warthogs deployed on those lawless and destructive elements of society. Now what these clowns in Oregon are doing is illegal and wrong killing them all would be very counterproductive.

The ridicule they are receiving is more harmful to their cause than any massacre would be.

And now there’s this: At Bundy encampment, outsider says militants 'attacked' his group - oregonlive.com

Well, at least there was no gunplay.

This really is the best way to deal with this IMHO. It makes them look like complete idiots, who are begging for food (when they can go to town and buy their own), and begging for monetary donations (so they can by booze and drink in local motels).

The locals want them gone; They are free to go; Yet they will not go.

They call for more supporters to show up; None do, so they look like idiots.

Law enforcement is treating them like petulant teenagers who want more stuff from mommy and daddy; This is pretty much what they are looking like now.

Sheriff, Bundy meet on neutral ground to discuss ending refuge occupation

It would seem that Bundy has discovered that it is cold in January, and nobody is going to provide him with free snacks. Oh, and the bag of flour did not magically turn into hot biscuits.

Also he has become a national joke.

Ha Ha Ha!

It seems the sheriff is offering to give the Bundy-boys a protective escort out of the county, so they don’t get an ass-kicking from the local ranchers.

Some of the Bundy-boys were at last night’s town hall meeting, where they were not allowed to speak (only people who actually lived there were given the mic), and where they heard some pretty tough talk from some pretty tough local lads, who are likely better armed than the Bundy-boys.

If they know what’s good for them, they’ll take advantage of the offer of protective escort out of town. Or the next step might be they are removed from the area by the locals.

It’s nice that it might be a peaceful end, but it doesn’t sound like there will be any consequences. “Go home to your families?” What about arrest or at least some decent-sized fines? The protesters who hung off a Portland bridge last summer to block a ship used in oil exploration were fined several thousand dollars, and that protest tied things up for only one day.

I know I’m ranting about something that hasn’t happened yet, and I’ll shut up if these guys get hit with consequences. But if they get to leave with a “thanks for coming” and nothing else, I’ll be pissed. They were encouraged by a lack of consequences for the confrontation in 2014, and they’ll be more encouraged if there are none this time.

Sure, but that slightly inconvenienced Royal Dutch Shell.

Our corporate overlords have no vested interest in Malheur.

Is this what The Internet calls rule 34? I give you Bundy standoff erotic fan fiction:

The sheriff asserted, in an interview on Tuesday, that the FBI had assured him some unspecified criminal charges would be forthcoming eventually.
