I’m by no means a fan of BLM, but the most disruptive acts they’ve committed pale in comparison to this. This isn’t a protest. This isn’t a riot. This isn’t terrorism. This is treason. These assholes are engaged in armed rebellion against the United States and they need to be treated accordingly.
Steal things that everyone else has paid for for generations. Isn’t Bundy a pariah in the rancher community? It’s not a rancher movement, it’s just a bunch of rednecks who want to play at war.
I must commend several of our board members here for the courageous stand they have taken in support of summary execution of Clven Bundy and his supporters. It is, no doubt, a difficult thing for you to call for government agents to kill those people without arrest, trial or conviction because you are all such strong, moral proponents of rule of law. I am still curious, though. Are there others whom you would execute? If not, what is so especially evil about Cliven Bundy?
I’m not saying that the Bundys and their scumbag followers should be summarily murdered. Ideally, they should be given a chance to surrender peacefully, and given a fair trial followed by a speedy execution.
If, however, they decide not to come out quietly, well, then, whatever happens to them in the ensuing firefight is their own damn fault.

I don’t want them executed. I do want them forcibly evicted. And if they shoot at Federal workers doing their jobs, I want them suitably handled.

Gosh, it doesn’t seem like a difficult question, especially for those calling for SWAT and napalm or even expressing a willingness to personally kill Cliven Bundy. What is uniquely evil about Cliven Bundy such that his summary execution is desirable to you? Why not call for…I don’t know…Bill Cosby’s death? If I gave you a gun and the opportunity to kill Bill Cosby (at no risk to you personally, natch), would you kill him too? Just him but not Bundy? Neither of them? No, execution is a really bad idea. It creates martyrs. They should, upon conviction, be warehoused in small, isolated rooms in the Marion Supermax, where most of us can quietly forget about them.
I just want conservative insurgents to be treated the same way conservatives think Black Lives Matters or OWS should be treated. Anything else is hypocrisy.
