In other news, the sour cream cookies are out of the oven, and waiting to cool off before frosting! Christmas Eve day is putting right along. 
Dammit, I have been trying to find a Christmas cookie recipe for Sugar cookies with icing. It’s not royal icing, or the regular icing sugar drizzle, it’s similar to a buttercream, but it doesn’t stay sticky - dies that make sense?
Sigh. I thought I had it, but no.
Is it a butter/icing sugar/milk/vanilla recipe? Cause I have that recipe.

I headed down to Waterton National Park today. The town shuts down for winter, and I didn’t expect any services to be working. But it slept under a blanket of snow, and looked beautiful. There were some deer in the townsite, and the mountains were showing off their plumes of snow.
Next time, I’ll take a camera.
Anyway, hope everybody had a great Christmas!
Mine was pretty good. Still feeling the effects of eating WAY more than I am used to when I went to friends for dinner. They were foolish enough to park a large bowl of nacho chips and salsa (is that the right word? chunky tomato stuff that you dunk the chips into) in front of me because dinner wasn’t quite ready. Totally pigged out on those and then totally pigged out on dinner.

Sorry, Christmas got in the way. I looked up a buttercream icing recipe, and mine is simply that. I’m not sure why mine hardens on the cookies, but other buttercreams don’t - less milk/cream, maybe?
