I KNEW I should have revised my list during December when everyone suddenly started announcing their advanced, fatal diseases. But noooooo! Nuts!
Well, those 28 points put me in a several-dozens-way tie for the lead in this year’s Pool (assuming Ariel Sharon is indeed still clinging to life).
However, the Israeli leader will probably be confirmed dead by the time I return from Florida. Long Time First Time is participating in the North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando, and I’m tagging along as her guest. We’ll fly down today and be back in Indiana Wednesday. I won’t be online for the next few days, but I’ll be checking this thread as soon as possible after I return to this too-cold apartment in the too-cold Midwest. Have fun in my absence!

Ok, now that’s funny! Umm… is there like an update periodically throughout the year so we can keep up with who’s bought the farm and who’s still hangin’ in there? I’m a newbie to the deathpool this year.

The short answer to your question is Oui. a35362 will post periodic updates of the score. Something like every 6 weeks or so, depending on how many celebrities died and how many players have scored points (Here & Final Official Score ). She also will post when no players had any of a list of celebrities (Here).
If we’re lucky, JohnBckWLD will post some interesting statistics. Things like celebrity with the most picks, least picks, unique celebrities, highest potential score, etc (Here, Here, Here and Here).
Also, there was a spreadsheet that listed the current score - it was updated from time to time as well (Here).
