This is the first time I’ve even ever looked at the Death Pool thread, because my guilt made me shy away in horror. However, it doesn’t feel as awful as I thought it might be. Ya know, I don’t guess there’d be jumping up and down or any confessions that it’s your fault. So, I think I’m going to play next year. My question is, if I limit the list to nothing but people I don’t like, will I harbor less that belief that I personally got them offed anyway? I mean, I don’t think I’d have any problem, um, cheering the death of ol’ Phred, but someone I adore (like Steven Tyler – who I’d never, ever put on there!) would probably send me over the edge.
Yeah, I know. I’m already there. Still.
Therefore, can anyone help out another DP virgin and let me know if the delicate sensibilities can be overcome (or ignored)? Gracias.
I only picked celebs who are (or were ) unhealthy and physically suffering. You can’t feel guilty if death ends such suffering, right? It can feel quite rewarding actually.
Yep, I do. But I’m sure it never hurts to take notes on strategies and plan ahead. Besides, just today I learned that Wilson Pickett and my first thought (besides it being sad) was I bet the update email from the board comes from someone posting about it in the DP thread.
Yet, it looks like I’m the first. Is that a different kind of cherry popped? I ask in all morbidity.
Sorry Ms. Annie. My search abilities seem to be lacking at best. However, I’m pretty sure (I think, I think, I think) I was the first to mention it in this thread. Does that count for anything? Rolling the old cherry around or something? Poking it with a stick (hehehehe)?
As Veuve_ClicquotNJ has already posted in Cafe Society, actor Anthony Franciosa has died at the age of 77. One of Franciosa’s ex-wives, actress Shelley Winters, passed away last weekend.
