The Celebrity Death Pool 2007
Hmph. I was points-free in '06, so I’m really happy about Don Ho.

You are a sick, sick woman.

Yeah, okay, I know what you mean.

My first reaction was to check my 2007 list to make sure I had included him. Because I wouldn’t have wanted him to have died in vain.

My first reaction was, “Thanks, Don!” Yeah, I’m sick like that.

My second reaction was, “There’s gotta be an Imus joke in there somewhere.”

Not that this has anything to do with the Death Pool, but I heard the news while at a competition, the winner of which is going to Hawaii to compete in the finals.

And wouldn’t it be the ultimate irony if the winner of that trip to Hawaii specifically wanted to see Don Ho?

Don Ho has died.
He picked a helluva week to die, with all the talk about Imus’s “Ho.”

As god is my witness, I thought Barry Nelson was dead already.

Dirt Nappy headed Ho!

The source of many Pittings, Johnny Hart of BC Comic is dead.

And so is his partner, Brant Parker

I only wish we could be bidding B.C. and Wizard of Id a fond farewell too.
The 43-year-old “Wizard of Id,” like Hart’s 49-year-old “B.C.” comic, will be continued by family members.

Bad comic strips are the true immortals.

Parker retired about 10 years ago. His son has been drawing it since then.

Me, too. I would have thought she was older than 96. More like 196.
