According to CNN, Bernie Mac has died from complications of pneumonia. (No link as yet, just a breaking news blurb.)

Very tragic, and unexpected.

(And also points-free, as it appears nobody picked him.)

Being largely unfamiliar with Mac’s oeuvre, I’m curious. Does this have some meaning specifically to Bernie Mac fans? Or are you riffing on the movie title?
