The Celebrity Death Pool 2009

:DHas there been a ruling on a celebrity that has been certified as schizophrenic? Someone like “Sybil” could be worth a lot points when you multiply by 16.

Theologian Richard Neuhaus, dead at age 72.

If you’re going to points per personality. you should get points per body part too. Someone murdered in a woodchipper could be worth thousands, even tens of thousands of points.

Nah, still only one person.

Former Mouskateer Cheryl Holdridge dead at 64

ETA: BTW, SYBIL is dead

Cornelia Wallace, the second wife of Alabama Governor George Wallace, has died at the age of 69. She is perhaps best-remembered for throwing herself over George’s body to shield him after he was shot while campaigning for the presidency of the United States in 1972.

Wow. All the women I’ve known would have moved away less they get blood on their clothes.

You mean if you had been shot? That may say more about you than the women.

Good point.
Well taken.

Hell, I’ll be happy to throw myself on top of you after you’ve been shot… just not taking a bullet for you…

You have to use cold water to get the blood out, you know.

Ray Dennis Steckler, the man who brought us such movies as The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies and Wild Guitar has stopped living. No word yet on whether he’s been zombified.

Patrick Swayze is reported to be in the hospital with pneumonia.

Ghost II coming to a theater near you.

Shit. If I’d have picked him, he’d be fine right now (my list apparently grants immortality to those included - at least for a year, anyways).

Woohoo! I’m gonna pop my cherry soon! Shazaam!
err…I mean, I hope he pulls through.:frowning:

Dave Roberts, who compiled a 103-125 record during his thirteen seasons as a Major League Baseball pitcher, has died at the age of 64. The linked article’s reference to him as “David Arthur Roberts” reminded me of the fact that there was a third baseman named David Wayne Roberts (who survives) whose big-league career overlapped that of the late Dave Roberts.

Prince Joe Henry, who played for several Negro League teams during the 1950’s, passed away last week at the age of 78.

Newsflash: Islamic hit list includes Amy Winehouse as “one of Britain’s leading Jews”.

I submitted a Google News Alert for each of my candidates this year, and this popped into my mailbox! And I was thinking OD, not car bomb.

Don Galloway, the actor best-known for playing Detective Sergeant Ed Brown on the Ironside TV series, has died at the age of 71.

Pioneering Australian aviatrix Nancy Bird Walton dead at the age of 93.
