The Celebrity Death Pool 2009

Can Fernando Lamas and Cesar Romero be far behind?

I had no idea that Montalban had been married to the same woman for 63 years. I thought he might have been a playboy, but apparently not. Seems like a very nice man.

Just for one - Captain Lance Murdoch with his second points-scorer of the year.

I think you are absolutely right about Jade Goody, but none of the others.

lot of deaths this week - …
…none from my list, however. I’m just hoping to beat 2008’s score (which you;d think wouldn’t be that hard, but time will tell)

Less difficult for some of us than others…

Maybe I’m missing the joke but Lamas and Romero both have a headstart. Lamas died in 1982 and Romero died in 1994.

Damn, I got the conga line order wrong. Actually, I was just thinking back to those old SNL skits.

Me too please.

He will be buried in a casket of rich Corinthian leather.

Damn. You beat me to the lame joke! I spoke those very words when I heard of his death.

I beat both of you to the lame joke.

Completely Pointless:

I once saw Fernando Lamas when I was a lass when we were at Disney. My mom told me he was once the bee’s knees.

nah, but he was the cat’s pajamas.

Indian filmmaker Tapan Sinha has died at 84 following prolonged illness.

16 points for me.

Next time you pick him, lose the “Sir” - that makes him a different person in my system

Wow, I thought he was a nineteenth-century painter. Now I feel dumb.

I think you’re thinking of N.C. Wyeth.
