Frederick J. Eikerenkoetter II, the clergyman who gained fame as Reverend Ike as his message aired over 1770 television and radio stations in the 1970’s, has died at the age of 74. Reverend Ike’s emphasis on the “gospel of material prosperity” placed him at odds with more traditional ministers and civil rights leaders who felt that the black church should be more concerned with social reform than with self-fulfillment.

That would depend on where the job is. I wouldn’t mention it, say, if you’re applying to be a Nun but it might be a plus for a job at a mortuary.
