The Celebrity Death Pool 2009

Surprisingly, nobody had him.

Well, he’d cried wolf so often, I was beginning to think he was immortal.

bursts into tears I knew I should have sent him that money!

Damn! I thought I had him, but in fact I had his evil twin Billy Graham.

Billy Graham could be immortal.

Former Disney CEO and nephew of Walt, Roy Disney.

YOu can send me that money!

Is Aintitcoolnews.com considered an authoritative source? I have an article where Dan O’Bannon has died, but the other articles I have found so far source AICN for the story.

The Los Angeles Times has reported O’Bannon’s death. The writer-director of The Return of the Living Dead and author of the Alien script was 63.

Brittany Murphy Dead at 32 - On Yahoo’s front page.

Confirmed in the Washington Post

It would be way creepy if anyone had her. That came right out of left field.

Nope - nobody did. I’d never heard of her.

Thanks for saying this. I know I was thinking it, and I suspect others, too.

'Me neither. That always makes me feel very very old.

I’m not sure why it would be ‘way creepy.’
IIRC, someone picked John Ritter the year he died, and his death was certainly unexpected. I think the poster said he’d picked his name on a whim.

I picked Peter Jennings in 2005. I picked Ken Jennings and then Peter and Dan Rather and Tom Brokow.

Jennings announced his cancer in April and died in September. I had a unique pick.

The fact that someone had Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes when she died in 2002 is the one that blew me away the most.
