The Celebrity Death Pool 2013

Easy dying. Trevor Bolder bass player for Uriah Heep dead at 63.

Damn.

I decided to go with the *Easy Living *reference but I could have done a “Where are the Spiders?” line since he played with Bowie on all the Ziggy Stardust albums.

Hazel Hawke has died at 17 points.

Eliahna is now the first poster with two unique picks!

It’s my sweet 94th place that’s making everyone envious.

I hope it wasn’t just a weird coincidence. Palladia had the Ziggy Stardust concert movie on last night. A couple of things hit me. First, the film looked like it was filmed on a cheap Super 8 camera that had been kicked around for a few years. Second, now that Bowie has been and English gentleman for years its easy to forget how truly fucking bizarre he was. And lastly, Trevor Bolder was a damn good bass player and the Spiders were a hell of a band. When I was in Germany I did see Uriah Heep and Trevor on bass. Small hall, great show.

Tied for 122nd. :frowning:

S.W.A.T. actor Steve Forrest dead at 87/13

From Second to Ninth, and further down to go.

Oh, the shame!

In my head I keep seeing the pallbearers jogging towards the gravesite “Hut hut hut hut.”

For some reason I had no idea he was Dana Andrews brother until I read this article.

My Amanda Bynes pick is looking better and better.

Nobody had Steve Forrest.

So is Tim Curry. I hope he’s OK. He had a major stroke.

Oh no!:frowning:

According to reports, Curry is doing well and is expected to recover.

Flynn Robinson, the former NBA guard who played on the Los Angeles Lakers’ 1971-72 championship team, has died after a two-year fight with cancer. He was 72.

Ex-Bears player Dick Evey, 72, dies

Nobody had Robinson or Evey.

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Haynes Johnson has died in Bethesda, Md., of a heart attack, his wife said. He was 81.

Oddly enough, the stroke was 10 months ago and he has been undergoing therapy since then. Sounds like things are going well.
