The Celebrity Death Pool 2013

That is some stellar reporting there :smack:

So was the accident last week though?

It appears there was some confusion. Curry had a stroke last July and has been recovering. Then he had an accident and collapsed last week. And in some of the reports of the accident, it was reported that he had had a major stroke. Some reports then combined these two pieces of information and said that he had a stroke and collapsed last week.

The media really sucks in its reporting, at least some of it. Have they always been this bad or has it gotten worse only recently? I know some initial reporting on past stories has been wrong, but, for example, the reporting on the Conn school shootings last year was terrible beyond belief.

It’s the Coked Up Orangutan effect.

Johnny Carson and Doc Severinsen’s drummer Ed Shaughnessy dead at age 84.

I started a thread on this gem from March:

The headline:

Former Playmate Welcomes Baby Boy

The opening lines of the story:

*Holly Madison has some bunny new to love!

The former Girls Next Door star and her boyfriend Pasquale Rotella welcomed a daughter on Tuesday, March 5 in Las Vegas, a source confirms to PEOPLE.*

Nemo-Please explain the problem. Or do you just disdain People?

The headline says “baby boy” while the story says they had a daughter.

That makes sense.

Wow, that’s pretty bad editing

I can handle that
