FWIW, www.thefutoncritic.com lists the show as “fate to be determined”, and they’re pretty reliable. So, the axe hasn’t dropped yet.
As for Ritter, I had no idea. I have, though, thought that of the entire cast he’s the most…off.

I can certainly understand being irritated by interviewers who can’t stop being Three’s Company groupies long enough to judge his work on its own merits.
Yay other people watch this show too! I really love it, and Noelq’s description nailed it on the head as to why.
I love the actor who plays Richie Velch (I think his name is Jessy Tyler Ferguson?), and I first saw him on Broadway about a year ago in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Great comic timing and a singer to boot!
I really like this show. It’s sort of the sitcom corollary to Heroes, in that we were given a premise, introduced to a bunch of characters, them watched them move through their own little sitcom lives, loosely connected to each other.
Really freaky that Judy Punch left right after Fern threatened Holly. Maybe they’ll recast Holly next season?
I find all the remaining “classmate” women really attractive, which probably helps. Maybe more attractive than Rachelle Lefevre (who I was sort of disappointed was only in two episodes), & that’s saying something.
