I keep seeing the chat room regs reffered to as the ‘Clique’, or the ‘in-crowd’.
Does this mean I am in a clique?
Who is in it?

And in the “best joke post…”, Guano Lad posted a pedophile joke, and about 3 posts later, some stranger (2 posts on record) makes some creepy threat…did anyone else pick up on this?
And what’s up with Handy? He used to be fun, and lately ever post of his I see is a real downer…is he ok?
I have been pretty busy, but I still read the board…just dont have much chance to post.

Couldn’t tell ya as I only go into chat for a few minutes to terrorize any non-clique members then leave. I did tie and gag Handy tho, but knowing him, that should have brought a smile to his face, not major depression… otherwise, it is just the same old, same old. Mostly ppl busy with the holidays.

As for my attitude lately, just my usual self
at this time of the year because it reminds me of my father passing on a few years ago & some people close to me, whom I asked not to do certain things to remind me of that occassion, whoopped it up, rubbed it in and actually enjoyed doing so. People can be mean I guess.
Yes, kellibelli, I noticed it. What is that?!? Since no one else commented on it at the time, I just figured it was either a goofy in-joke or just some stupid kid. However, looking back, it does seem rather ominous…

The ‘clique’ references appear in alot of stuff in the pit, mostly about the 2 posters who are now involved etc, and that the ‘clique’ knew before the board blah blah blah.

Kelli: Yes Omni IS a reg in the chat. I Have the logs to prove it. Anyway, though he may deny, he’s a part of “The Clique” as so many people call it. Though I hardly think it’s a clique since anyone from the board who comes in is warmly welcomed (well everyone who comes in, actually).
For those of you who want to go to the chat, but can’t download MIRC, Opal has posted a thread with a link to the chatroom (I think it’s “SD chat, even crunchier now” or something to that effect). Now nearly anyone can join in the chat. Anyway Drain and Satan haven’t been in the chat much lately since this fiasco…But, i’m usually there, along with others like Opal, Falcon, Democritus, Pricciar, Sanibel, Boli, ChrisCTP, Sassy, Canada Sue, Purple Crack Whore, Zulu, Auraseer (come meet the man, the legend), Cessandra, BigLouie, Alphagene (occasionally), VBlaise, VogueVixen, Jophiel, Omniscient,ShadowFox and a few others i’ve probably forgotten.
One nice thing about internet message boards is that there is a diverse group of people participating in discussions. No one is segregated by age, race, income levels, or appearances.
How sad that some feel that there should be a “clique” or a need to post things like “My Favorite Poster” threads. Don’t we all get enough of that IRL?

As far as I know the chat is open to anyone… hey they let me in so I figure they let anyone in. Actually it is always full of warm welcomimg people so come on in! It can get pretty funny in there. Watch the bots tho, they tend to send you pretty racy private messages.

I think the chat room has been called a clique due to the kind of stuff that happened during the Satan Drain Bead saga. People knew things other people on the board didn’t know. These people also made sure everyone else knew these things. So, the people that weren’t in the chat room felt left out.
Thats why it was called a clique.
Its kind of cliquey to do that kind of thing.
But, yeah, the chat room is a fun place to go to, and everyone is very welcome.
Even those people who come in and say they want some dope. I think they are funny.
Then we can ask them absurd questions. Then they get confused and go to some porn room.
