That was the most interesting trip to the likker sto I have had in a while…
Throw on the hoodie and talk a walk maybe seven minutes. Grab a bottle O’ Kentucky’s finest and chat with Ti, the owners son. On the way back I notice one of the many houses under construction (zero lot line, three story) has its garage and front door ajar and I hear noises inside. No lights on well after dark, I am thinking thieves, this is a huge problem here BTW. Hoof it to the cops house just round the corner from me ( way faster than 911) knock on the door and off we go back to house in question, running and calling for backup. 2 cars 4 cops and dammit they were gone. At least we got a ride back in the back, which was a first for me.

I went to the dentist for a lost filling Tuesday, forgot that I had to take an antibiotic because of the artificial joint.
Hell, there goes the harim thing, I’m damaged goods.
The antibiotic kills anything the dentist pokes into me with things he drops and wipes off on his pants, but it kills everything in my tummy and GI tract. Sick as hell early this morning, went in to work at noon.
That’s a non-denial denial if I ever heard one.
Cap’n In most cop cars, you can’t open the rear doors from the inside. Last time I was in one Big Mack told me not to close the door, just hold it open…as we proceeded to race up the street. :eek:

I need to swipe a banana at irk this morning. I’m getting leg cramps again. Must be low on potassium.
Good morning, sorta. Horrible night - I was falling asleep while knitting, so I went to bed before 9. Woke up about 12:20, and had a tough time falling back to sleep. Woke up again about 3:30 and drifted in and out for a while, but when the alarm went off, I was HARD asleep. So it’s gonna be another of *those *days.
I was talking to FCD more about the place where I sent my resume - apparently they have a strong blame culture - if something goes wrong, they look to lay the blame on someone. I’m thinking I’m not interested in such an environment, but if I get called for an interview, I may still take it.
And should **FCD **get this other job he’s interviewing for, I may just quit here, even if sequestration doesn’t get me. With spring coming, I’m really wishing I was still retired, so I may just go that route. We shall see how it all goes…
Meanwhile, I’ve got crap to get done, so I’ll be occupied for a little while longer.

I did not want to get out of bed this morning. These past few days have kicked my butt. Hopefully today will be a regular day and I can keep my feet on the ground.
Minor blurfage here, but DH is heavily blurfed. The chemo round ends tomorrow, so hopefully he’ll be able to feel a bit better this weekend.

Kwickie is the name of a local restaurant so get yer minds outta da gutter. We don’t go there except for breakfast usually. So, yestiddy when he asked me if I wanted to go “grab a Kwickie” before irk today that meant have brekkie together. ‘Tis 34 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 70 for the day. Tonight it’s supposed to start rainin’ and will be rainy all over Jawja and Tennessee tomorrow apparently. Figures since I will be drivin’ to Gatlinburg tomorrow. Speakin’ of which, I am mostly packed already. Go Me!
Apes I’m with doggio on this. We both like spinach and look how we turned out! Spinach is good especially if’n it’s fresh spinach.
Spaz I took a banana from The Kwickie as I was leavin’ there. I lurves me some banana so it’ll be my mid mornin’ snack.
